Keeps disconnecting from WIFI. Very annoying. Might just be my unit. I will contact amazon to see if they will replace it.

Easy to setup..but stop working a few weeks in

I have 2 of these plugs operating my Christmas lights. One is outside and one is loacated in the garage. The one outside turns off randomly. Alexa or the ap will turn it back on. Would be a 5 star product for the price if it would not randomly turn off.

Admittedly I took a little bit to try to get this set up, and once I did it was fairly easy. I set it up inside, then moved it to the outdoor outlet I purchased it for. It worked fine, but after a week or two it was not responding. At first I assumed it was a weak signal issue, but after a couple of days of trying to move around my signal booster, it dawned on me to push the button to manually turn it on, only to find that didn't work either. Brought it inside to better debug and noticed that the LED never turns on now. Appears the unit is completely dead now :-\

This is junk it's so outdated it doesn't work with the new vivitar app it only works with the old app, when it works at all. Once I downloaded the old app I was able to get it installed, then it keep turning on and off.

I used the previous app and plug from Vivitar and love it. The new app that this requires makes it impossible to use correctly due to all the glitches. So disappointed.

I can’t believe they continue to sell this junk constant problems with the server they are offline more than they are on

Supporting app is poorly designed and switch turns off randomly once I did get it to work.
