I began using this product back in 2007 and continued using them on and off. I did not stop using them because they were not effective, just at times, the price always intimidated me and sometimes it was difficult to find them, or I would just simply change my diet and try other supplements.In my opinion, these essential fatty acids are way underrated and more people should know about them. These do work but if used properly and accordingly. I have taken these on an empty stomach, with food, with coconut oil and a raw egg yolk, or just with a tablespoon of coconut oil. Somehow the combination of all these type of oils work together very good. Even when I take these essential oils by themselves, I still feel the benefits. The most noticeable benefits I notice and feel are energy, it stops my appetite and makes it easy for me to do a longer fasting during the day, and I do not feel constipated; is as if these oils somehow lubricate my vowel movements. I feel like I am more active and less tired, my mood feels positive and simply good.One thing I have noticed throughout the time I have been using these is if I eat certain food/s on the same day I had these oils, I might get diarrhea. Eating foods that contain whole wheat or a lot of fiber when taking these oils, might give you an upset stomach and your body might not absorb the oils they way it is intended to. I always take 3 capsules and although they are a little large, it is not difficult to swallow them at all. When these oils dissolve in your stomach, you might burp a semi-strong odor but it does not bother me at all since the burping only happens at the most 2 times. I also noticed when these dissolve in my stomach, I momentarily feel a little nauseous but it goes aways really fast.These capsules are very convenient, unlike the liquid version. Both formats are beneficial and work, but I find the liquid version of this product to taste very strong and difficult to swallow since it is very oily. Also, make sure to keep these in the refrigerator at all times; otherwise, they could go rancid. You must experiment with the dosage and find out which one is the right for you. I am sure that once you find out a routine that works for you when it comes to taking these essential oils, you will see the benefits.I hope this review helps you in making a good decision about the purchase of this product.

My first bottle of these softgels was from the local health food store. I purchased a bottle of 90 and paid more than I did for this bottle of 180. It is high quality oil that is a combo of fish oil, flaxseed oil and borage oil. It contains a high concentration of EFA, DHA, omega 3, 6 and 9. There is no fishy after-taste or horrible fish burps from this brand. There are no directions on how to take this supplement, but 3 softgels are considered one serving. I have found through trial and error, to take one pill at a time with food. If you take more than 1 at a time, it may cause an adverse reaction (diarrhea). I would recommend this brand and will purchase it again.

I've been using this product for years. I take 2-3 per day in the summer and up to 4 a day in the winter. It helps my skin so much - less acne and less dry skin in the winter. It's supposed to help mood in the wintertime with lack of sun, but that's hard to quantify. I've recommended this to many people, and those who try it are happy; many of my friends and family now also take these regularly. Doesn't leave a bad taste like some fish oil pills do.

I've been taking this for couple years now 2 pills a day instead of 3. My skin looks better, knee and heart don't hurt anymore. I had NO fishy burps after that, which I had after "New Chapter" and "Ultimate Omega". I love this product but because we'll be trying to conceive a baby soon I'll be switching for a prenatal DHA/EPA without borage oil. I hope I'll find something as good as this one.

I can't live with out this in my life. I was recommended to use over 10 years ago for my skin (I have parts of my skin that is dry & scaly) this helps as long as I take it religiously. Plus this is one of the only Total Efa that have the amounts it does out there....compare & see for yourself.

Nice product but pricey. I used it for a while, but have replaced it with Trader Joe's Complete EFA which has everything you need in it.

I am unable to tell if the fish oil source is from wild caught or farm raised. No response yet from manufacturer. Will change rating if they can confirm it is wild or otherwise. Farm raised salmon are the most toxic animals compared to any other food source.

I bought this product for my wife. She finds it to be an excellent overall omega supplement.The combination of omega 3,6,9 is not overly strong andworks for my wife as she is on a baby aspirin regimen and bruises very easily from products that can thin the blood. This product works well for her.

Cant make the damn 3-6-9, this is a very easy way to obtain them. no fuss no taste. job done.
