Wish I had one of thse years ago.
I just stained a 50 foot wood fence, both sides with this brush. In the spring I stained a 50 foot wood fence on the other side of my yard with a roller and used 5 gallons of stain. So I bought 5 gallons for this other fence, same size and only used half of it with this brush. It was much easier with this brush and did a great job. You can spray your fence if you want but you really need to back brush it anyway, so you might as well just do it right the first time.

Worth it, makes the job easy
Great brush, really sped up the process. Get yourself a deep paint tray, dip the brush, dab and turn it upside down to avoid drips. This will hold a lot of stain. Definitely helped with not missing spots. I didn’t try to clean it because it would need a lot of mineral spirits but I would buy again even if one time use. It’s worth it alone the $25 or so.

Works great to put stain on quickly
This brush is a great value that really helped us quickly stain the floor of our new deck. We waited longer than we should to stain the wood, so it quickly absorbed the stain. Along with an adjustable rod (not included), this brush allowed us to quickly and easily apply stain to the deck board in just a couple of strokes since the brush is wider than a standard board. We noticed it also did a good job of coating the sides of the boards for an even look. We were able to get a good amount of stain on the brush per swipe, so it saved time there too.

Very good for stain!!
I bought this a few months ago to use for restraining our deck. It worked great!! I think the last time I stained it took seven gallons. This time it took just under five gallons to do the whole deck, the railings, and the front side of a wall partition thing. It gave great coverage on the topside of the deck as well as in the cracks. I used it without a handle, holding the brush in front of me, parallel to the deck planks, and went in a side to side motion. The only bad thing about that method was the blisters it created on my hands!!I will get a picture of the finished product once the forest fires burning all around us die down and the deck is no longer covered in endless ash. ヅ

THIS IS IT
If you are staining your deck this brush is the only way to go. No bristles fell out after staining our 25'x25' deck using Ready Seal semi transparent oil. After 4 days, and 2 floor sander rentals removing that Rust-Oleum RESTORE C R A P and the Solid stain and replacing 1/3 of the 2x6 pressure treated wood. Tired of crawling on my hands and knees. This brush, dip in oil, extend the brush with stain and bring it back to you.

Made staining a breeze. I put 4 gallons on a deck in less than 3 hours while not straining my back!

Much better than a roller
Worked great. Used less product and twice as fast as a roller. Wish I would have bought this a long time ago.

Great if you want to brush stain/sealer on your deck!
We had tried using a sprayer. We had tried using a roller. Neither gave the finish to the deck surface that we wanted. I found this brush and we gave it a try. The deck is stained and sealed the way we wanted and we were able to brush it on while standing. Perfect!

Best all around deck stain brush
Expensive but really well. Tried bushes, rollers, pads and even sprayers but found that this on the end of a broom handle was the easiest to use, provided the most control and allowed me to really focus where the stain would go (between boards, in knots etc) unlike a pad. Very easy to clean and much easier on the back compared with other types of applicators.
