Gloves of Mithril. They are not easily broken!
These things have lasted quite well over time. When I bought them months ago, I didn't expect them to last as long as they have, but they still show no signs of wear after every day use. My last pair would have long since died by now, so I am very very impressed with the quality. I don't know exactly what it is about Ringers gloves, but it seems the STITCHING is just on another level! I mean, I haven't seen a single seam go lose on these things and it's still as tight as the day I bought it. In all seriousness, I think these guys should really consider patenting and licensing their stitching methods, because there are a lot of things like knee sleeves that have ripped on me that could use this. In all seriousness, I don't know how to explain it, but I am very impressed with how well they hold up over time. I just wish the colors were less obnoxious, but oh well. I honestly think these are gloves that will last me several years and they provide all the padding and grip that you could ever want.

Very good for non detailed work.
First off let me tell you that I work outside year round and use gloves every single day. The Ringers Rescue Gloves are a step up from the typical Mechanix style gloves in particular Mechanix M-Pact 2's. They are thicker and feel a lot more robust but with that comes a loss of dexterity. There are hook and loop closures under the wrist to give the gloves a tighter fit.(A lot of people complain about having too much material on their thumbs so a trick is to loosen the wrist closure push your thumb up and then tighten down the wrist closure. It may seem like an obvious thing to do, but I can't tell you how many people I have run into that don't do that.)I wear a size medium in Mechanix gloves and a medium fit me equally well with the Ringers brand. There is sufficient padding on the tops of the fingers/hand that add a bit of impact dissipation. There is a rougher material on the palm and on each of the fingers which I assume is to add to the gripping ability but I found that holding tools particularly ones with no handles (wrenches, ratchets, etc) was a bit more difficult then I am used to. Along with what I said before about the loss of dexterity really made these gloves fall into the non technical work category. Anything like yard work, moving, rough construction or similar tasks these gloves will shine and really hold up for a long time.If you're looking for something to do detail oriented work I would suggest either the Mechanix M-Pact series gloves or Petzl Cordex Lightweight gloves.

Gloves looked like they would hold up very well and looked like ...
Gloves looked like they would hold up very well and looked like they had good protection for the hand and fingers, in one review I read they said to order the same size as current glove that I was wearing but this was not the case, I ordered a Lg cause that is what I was wareing but the Lg. I ordered was too small (Tight) yes these gloves should be snug fitting but I couldn't even get mine all the way on. I returned them at a cost of $5.32 but have not ordered another pair due to the fact that I am not sure if I should purchase a pair of XL or XXL cause I don't want to have to pay another $5.32 for another return, other than that I thought they would have been Great.

Sturdy gloves for sure!
Nothing is going to penetrate these gloves! They are armor for my hands! The one drawback is, I purchased them for my husband, and the XL is too tight for his hands. They are also quite stiff, but they may give a little with time. I use these bad boys for gardening, so I am very happy about no thorns or insect bites happening while I am working. It’s a yes from me!

Seriously Lacking Durability
I decided to try these gloves after using the standard issue slip on cut resistant pairs that are supplied by most companies. I work In precast concrete and buildings, so I was looking for something that would hold up to tasks like handling rebar, carrying materials (steel and wood mainly), and handling of dried concrete products. I received the gloves in a timely manner, and I put them straight to use, however they only held up for 8 days. The seam on the right hand thumb crotch came undone. I really enjoyed the comfort and protection these gloves offer, however the durability is a huge issue. If I am going to spend this type of money on “heavy duty” gloves, I expect them to handle heavy duty workloads as advertised.

Decent rescue gloves.
I bought these to replace the Ringers Extrication gloves I have had for 10 years. Definitely a different glove. As others have said they fit snug. I stuck with large and they are just on the border of too small. I personally like a tighter fit so I kept them. They have a reasonable amount of dexterity and an excellent level of protection from most hazards. I don't believe they offer any flash protection. Also if you are buying these as general work gloves you would probably be better suited with something like a Mechanix glove. I keep both in my gear.

Fit on small side, but perfect for me.
I am a Volunteer FF and bought these on a rec from a friend. Haven't used in battle yet, but seem well made. I wear sz 7.5 medical gloves and am usually worried about a Medium being too big. These fit me PERFECT...as in, tightly. I doubt I can get a glove liner on inside of them.

Great for general work gloves
I used to use Ringer's Gloves for Extrication duty with Rescue Squad. Went back to them for work gloves for around the house. Use them for yardwork mostly, lots of protection, good fit, good dexterity.

Perfect
My son got these for work......in the furniture making business. It really helps with splinters and gripping large lengths of heavy wood and protects his hands and especially the knuckles. His boss is considering buying them for the entire crew.
