My plants were struggling before, but after switching to this light, they truly came back to life healthy, vibrant, and growing beautifully. The design is sleek and modern, and the quality of light it provides makes a noticeable difference. It’s definitely worth the investment if you care about your plants’ health and want something that looks great too!

This light is certainly a bit pricey. However, after 5 years, I can confirm it's well worth the cost.The color of the light is much better than cheaper alternatives. It is similar to real sunlight, which makes colors really pop. I've attached some photos to help illustrate this.Also, they have been extremely reliable. I purchased 12 of these back in 2019, for a variety of nano-tanks and plants. They have been running 5-8 hours per day, every single day for the past 5 years, typically on brightness level 2 or 3 (out of 4). So far, not a single lamp has failed.

The app is limited and not very intuitive and all substantive instructions are in Chinese. I set a schedule of different light percentages at different times. Then I wanted to change the times and could only change the percentage. I tried uninstalling the app, unplugging the light for over 24 hrs (for memory to clear), all with no luck. I had to email the company. They wrote back the next day and said you have to delete the times starting at the bottom of the list before you can set new ones. And you can only get the delete to appear if you start at the bottom. You pull from the edge and delete appears, but only once that time is at the bottom of the list. So once I knew that it was easy. Light works great and I like the the way I can set many different percentages so you can simulate the natural day light. The only thing I wish is that the light itself was longer to cover move of my tank. I have the Dennerle Shrimp King 10g tank.

The media could not be loaded. Probably the best lights I’ve ever purchased. The sleek design and swivel head makes it easy to attend to plants and aquarium maintenance. It doesn’t get in the way unlike other lights that nest over the aquarium on two ends which makes it hard to do anything in the aquarium without having to put it down or it falling in. The height of the light can be adjusted up and down. There’s no wonky screws sticking out because it’s been designed to be as sleek and clean as possible.The app works flawlessly so you can adjust the times and brightness to your aquariums residents needs. It doesn’t get as hot as other lights so this won’t burn you if you need to move it around.

There's a lot to love about this light, but a few critical flaws make it frustrating to work with. I love the color temperature, it's spot on for fish and plants. The low profile flat design is simple and elegant. Almost looks like it hovers over the tank. The dimmer is a nice bonus, but not totally necessary. I also appreciate that there's no app, no frills, no fuss. Just a light.Setting the light up on the tank is awkward however. It's hard to balance the mount and you need a screwdriver to fasten TWO screws every time you want to adjust it. It's horrible. You'll have to do a balancing act with the wires, screws and wobbly unbalanced ballast like a drunken elephant on roller skates just to scoot the dang thing over a centimeter.The absolute deal breaker however is the fact that the light's mount wicks water out of my tank like Niagara falls. Do not purchase this device if the water table on your tank meets the mounting bracket, else prepare for the deluge. Check out some of the review photos...most have low water levels and that's why they are happy.You've probably noticed that it's also pricey. Is it worth it? Maybe. When the stars align and you get the thing set-up just right, with the right tank, the perfect aquascape, a tiny screwdriver in your pocket at all times and inheritance money to burn, yeah...then it's worth it, cuz it sure is pretty if you can make it happy.

My first impression of the ONF Flat Nano is that it is a very premium and aesthetically pleasing aquascaping fixture (ADA level). Unboxing the packaging is comparable to opening an Apple product. It has a dense metal construction and has a nice weight to it. It is extremely bright and has great PAR outputs when tested with a seneye PAR meter. This light is designed for nano rimless aquariums. The mount will NOT fit in a standard 2.5 gallon or 5 gallon with a black trim. The high price this fixture sells for is justified if you want a luxurious aquascape look. The fixture itself is a piece of art and comes in silver and rose gold colors. This light has strong PAR outputs (At 9" is 145). More PAR data can be found at my website. Not worth the price , stopped working after one year of use. It pairs with the app , but for some reason the light doesn’t turn on. Bought for the aesthetics , but the functionality isn’t there.

Put this on a 5 gallon planted tank. Too much power. Excellent light.
