Used this to attach a tree swing to a rope. All good so far.

It snaps and swivels. Yay! We use it as a quick dinghy attachment to the mooring pennant. Spring is a little gimpy but hasn't come free, mostly because the line (about 7/8" diameter) barely fits through the opening. Easier than asking the crew to tie a bowline ("Show me again how to do that, Dad...”)They are good for about a year or two then the spring goes.

Junk. The spring in this Snap Hook is so weak that it is useless. Don't recommend.
