So far so good. holds about 2.25 TB after formatting in Native mode. Don't count on using hardware compression if you are backing up Video / Pictures that are already using pre-compression such as MPEG2, PNG, or JPEG. You may even end up loosing space! LTO tape manufactures should really just put the Native Capacity in large Font on the Box. Advertising the theoretical compressed capacity is so annoying and not realistic for most people.But for the tape itself, it works, and it backs up my files for long term storage. This tape is also very fast. I have seen write speeds up to 100 MB/sec. That's MEGABYTES not Megabits.
