I needed a Top Hat and was being very picky about what I wanted. Found this one and decided to order because it was a great price and had a return option if I didn't like it. But i LOVED it! This hat was absolutely perfect for my costume needs. the quality was really high end and fit nicely. I have a smaller head and needed to get the smaller size and it worked. Lots of compliments. I’ll be using it for a penguin costume too!

My hat arrived in a sturdy box inside an Amazon box. Hat came out in perfect condition. The hat and brim have a sturdy feel. The felting is very uniform and luxurious.I plan to decorate and bling it up. I will post a picture when l get it done.The hat is large, but l will put some foam inside. I am happy, for if the hat was tight, it would give me a headache. It will be easy to adjust the fit with foam inserts.

I sing with a costumed Victorian choral group during the Christmas season. I have purchased the less expensive hard-felt versions of this style of hat, and I guess I got what I paid for. They are typically "one size fits most." And they do not breath which means my head gets very hot, even when I am wearing them outside. My head is about size 7 1/4 or just over 22 inches in circumference. This is right on the cusp of being too large for "one size fits most," even when the site claims to fit heads up to 23 inches. This wool hat sold in multiple sizes is just what I needed - fits perfectly, looks sharp, and breathes. Oh, my head still gets warm, but the hat is far superior and well worth the added cost. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect hat for his Halloween costume, and it was made of good quality

This is a very nice looking top hat that fits well (as long as you get the right size). Because these are not fitted hats, I suggest getting some small foam liners to go inside the head band. Mine is a perfect fit now and looks great.

Hat looks nice & is well constructed. I think people buying top hat for first time should be aware it will pinch head a bit in front & should buy a size larger.
