Ready for a long hike or water adventure, the Digit is a high performance unisex sport sandal with a single, individual, articulating big toe platform that is separated from the remaining toes providing each foot two tactile surfaces. Four toe posts provide a natural connection to the footbed and prevent the need to clinch your toes. The Digit also has a 2 mm DuraShank for added rigidity and a 3 mm offset from heel to toe. Inspired by the sandals worn by the Anasazi people native to the Four Corners' rocky terrain, this ergonomic design lets the toes move independently, providing a steadier balance and a better feel for the ground, whether it's a steep trail or a slippery riverbed. The Digit is made of PLUSfoam, a 100% recyclable, performance material that makes it waterproof, washable and non-microbial (it won't stink like your other sandals). This water-ready sport sandal floats, so you won't lose another sandal when you're ejected in a class IV set of rapids. SAZZI + PLUSfoam: Building our sandals with the 100% RECYCLABLE product, PLUSfoam, allows us to build performance footwear while connecting us to the environment we are so strongly tied to through our love of the outdoors. PLUSfoam recycles and reuses post-manufacturing scrap and post-consumer products whenever possible, while outperforming and outlasting products made from traditional foam or rubber materials. Sazzi footwear also benefits from PLUSfoam's improved material qualities such as non-microbial footbeds and positive traction in both wet and dry conditions. Sazzi sandals are 100% RECYCLABLE. You can send back your pair of 5 year-old Digit's and know that they will find their way into a brand new pair of Sazzi sandals or another environmentally friendly product. It is all recycled and re-used. This eliminates needless landfill waste, the need for virgin material to be produced and reduces your carbon footprint dramatically.

no half sizes
No half sizes. The sandals are great, but the fit is not. I wear a 6.5 and sized up to a 7. They are a bit too big. Their website says to go down a size if you have narrow feet and up a size if you have wide feet. I wish that information was on amazon.

Amazing Sports Sandals
Love the secure fit of the ankle strap, it prevents my feet from rubbing against the strap. The sandals are so well made and super cushioning after a couple of wears. I have bought minimalist shoes before and these are the best I have ever seen. Love how I can fold back the heel strap when I don't need aggressive stabilization too. I've always kind of loathed taking walks in the summer because sports shoes are too hot and sandals quickly become a hassle mid trip. Not anymore! I went on a walk a couple of days ago and it was wonderfully pleasant. It is amazing how a pair of great shoes can do to help one become active.

I was able to use these sandals all summer and they did not disappoint. Before picking these up
I have been trying to incorporate more minimalist shoes into my running/hiking. I was able to use these sandals all summer and they did not disappoint. Before picking these up, I did some shopping around and was really surprised by how expensive comparable sandals were. Since they were considerably less expensive I didn't expect them to hold up as well as they did. I had absolutely zero ripping or stretching and that was after 2 months of running/hiking approximately 20-35 miles per week. They also have really good grip which was really helpful when traversing slippery rocks. I would say that I'll probably buy these again next summer, but I don't think I'll have to.

Love these sandals!
Love these sandals. This is my second pair. My other pair finally needed some gluing after two years of regular (almost daily in warm weather) use. I'm 6'4" and wear a size 13 shoe. Other sandals either rub or cause my toes to tighten. I thought it would be odd with all toes in loops but after a very short time you don't notice. The soles are not the cheap typical soles of other sandals either. My other pair still have a little tread on them. Assuming they are still around in another two years or so, I'll get another pair.

Awesome active lifestyle sandle
Love these! Best sandle ever!they are cool looking and comfy. You can where these anywhere an open toe shoes is appropriate. Its an open shoe.. So hike and play at your own risk, but I think these will hold up just fine against a teva, keen, or chaco. I ordered an extra pair to put away for later in life I liked them so much! They run true to size, but I actually got a 1/2 a size up due to availability. I'm glad I gambled and got them that half a size up ( I wear 10.5, and had to get 11's). The extra 1/2 toe worth of space will save you from banging your toes up! Great shoe!

Great innovation in sandals
I am pretty active and have narrow "low-volume" feet. Sandals without toe straps simply don't stay aligned, resulting in blisters. Most flip-flops are too wide also. These are great, as the toe straps greatly improve stability.Pros:Very stable, comfortable, secure.Cons:Kinda clunky looking, odd individual toe-cuts in the footbed grab grass and weeds, and sometimes I feel the seams of them. Also the toe supports (front of the foot bed) are much longer than human toes. In general, these do run a bit large. The Pros are much more important than the cons.

The length is fine but it feels too narrow across the top of ...
I ordered a 6 and I normally wear a 6 1/2. The length is fine but it feels too narrow across the top of my foot. It is not adjustable for that part either. I wish more people used the plus foam for shoes. Okay I read a review of a person wearing it in tall grass & stuff getting stuck in the big toe gap part. You could just put tape across that part I would think & then stuff wouldn't get caught in it. Don't toss them away the company recycles them. It is a really cool product & I would love it so much if you could adjust the front strap.

It can do so much!
I used this when jumping into the Kenai Lake and the Gold Cord Lake. As well as in my 26 mile hike through Crow's Pass. Nothing got under my foot like with flip-flops, amazing heel support and traction! No slips, and it holds no water! Once you get out of the water, it just slides right off. The best convertible sandals I've ever owned! The first picture attached is me after I reached the Gold Cord Lake at 2500 feet in elevation and the second is me exploring the Independence Mine before climbing the high climb to the lake. The rest are on random side trails, but they work wonders! Also if you look online for an incident in Alaska of an ice cave collapsing on Jacob James, I was one of the few people that dug him out and we were high up a steep cliff wall. I did it with my sandals without an issue of grip, and I've attached the photo of the ice cave as well right before it collapsed.
