Good Option For “Non-Typical Panel Type “Garage Doors
As you can see from my pic, my garage door isn’t broken up into 2’ x 4’ panels that every garage door insulation kit out their is made for. My door is a double car door and has four long 16 in x 16 ft sections. I searched YouTube for options, but kept seeing people with videos of the 2x4 panels; couldn’t really find any videos with my type of door. Since my garage door faces south, it can get well above 110F inside my garage during the hot Texas summer. So I really wanted to find something to insulate my door. This Reach Barrier roll of insulation met my needs. I was able to easily measure, cut, and installed the insulation to cover my garage door. Besides the four large sections, I also cut smaller 3-1/2” strips to cover the smaller sections with the door hinges. I used double sided type to adhere the insulation to the door. So far so good. For the pic with the laser thermometer, it was taken during the installation on a December afternoon here in Texas. I pointed to a section with insulation and a section without there’s a 17F degrees difference on the door for a section with vs a section without insulation. So this does Reach Barrier insulation does make a difference.

Why did I Wait!!!
Did so much research before buying and installing. Noticed temperature drop even during install. July in Maryland and my garage is only 80 degrees. Normally open door from house to garage and get hit will wave of heat. No longer have this. Easy to install. No mess. Looks good too!!!

Easy with different sized garage panels
Our garage has 20 panels. The precut panels with most pre cut panels would not have worked. I had 5 panels that were 58 inches wide others were 54 inches wide. Buying the roll allowed me to cut to size needed. It was easy to cut on a folding table with cardboard under it and a box cutter and straight edge. Fortunately it will bend easily so I never had to remove any bracing. I used Goriila Glue double sided tape to attach it with one inch squares in all 4 corners and 2 in the middle at top and bottom. As I said this was a big garage door with 20 panels and I had enough left over for 2 more panels. Now trying to decide if I want to double them with another roll. Seems to help with temperature radiating from the sun as garage door faces Southwesterly. I think this is a way to economically insulate your garage

It works wonders!
The product does a wonderful job insulating garage door panels. Easy to install. Just cut to length to fit. If you have a sheet metal door panel, just tuck it into the fold and it will hold itself tight. No need adhesive. When the sheet metal panel is 140F, the insulation surface is no more than 80F.Garage temperature ranges between 68 ~ 74F when the sheet metal temperature is 45F ~ 140F.If you are thinking about it... think no more. Get it!

Better than the made for "Garage Insulation Kit" that only fit just double door.
This roll was able to insulated a 3 car garage, 1 double door and 1 single door, with yards leftover. This roll was way cheaper and more material than those "Garage Insulation Kit" that only fit just 1 double garage door.Installed insulation on garage doors to stabilize temperature in garage. Works great the doors no longer heat up like an oven in direct sunlight. In the winter the insulation keeps more heat in garage so I can work on stuff even at night.

Easy to install .... And very effective
I installed this reflective barrier under my garage roof , so I could effectively air condition it ... It easily stapled to the underside of the wood between the rafters and it seems to be very effective at keeping much of the heat on the other side. A 6,000 Bruce window unit easily cools my garage now .... And I'm in HOT Florida. I have no regrets .... And plan to do the same in the attic of the main house in the gear future . Worked Great, no packing slip?
Everything was great with the product. However there was no packing slip with the product...just the insulation roll in a box?
