Arrived in Dell sealed packaging so I am assuming it is genuine. Early days yet but so far works well and holds its charge.

I was a little cautious about buying this as i wasn't sure if it was genuine or not, and I saw some reviews that suggested it wasn't. However, having installed it (which was very easy), I haven't had any issues after many months of using it.

Battery appeared to be a Dell, but was in a box sealed with parcel tape so suspect it's most likely a refurb. Installed fine. Only gave 1.5 hours max battery life - which was more like an hour in use. Main issue was that it lost all its charge when the laptop was turned off overnight. Tried a few cycles to be sure but every time I booted it had to be charged from scratch. Pretty useless on that front.

The product was decently priced, arrived on time and was packaged appropriately. Notes included in the box were helpful. This replacement battery has helped improve my experience of my laptop, as the original battery it replaced had degraded almost immediately. In all, I am happy with this purchase.

Slipped in, and laptop now holds 8hrs of charge instead of 30 mins. Let's see if it lasts better than the original (3yrs). Very easy to replace.
