Very pleased. I was a little hesitant when I saw reviews saying that the finish did not hold up. I have only had a few days but I wonder how the color would wipe off? Only time will tell. I have seen many wine placemats but they are usually dowdy. These are modern and striking looking. You cannot go into a store like a Bed Bath and get this updated of a look! And for $13 for 4 you cannot go wrong. Stay tuned I will let you know if I have any problems.

These are beautiful but unfortunately NOT heat resistant as specified in the description. Even with the slightest bit of warm food, the mat shrivels up. The foam material curls the mat edges up when WARM (not hot) food is placed in the center.

After dealing with woven plastic placemats for a couple of years it is such a relief to have smooth placemats that are easy to keep clean. Woven placemats have about a thousand times more surface area for germs and crud to cling to. These smooth placemats look great and blend into the white tablecloth.

These are extremely cute. I think they look great on my table that is decorated for fall. They curl up some when you place a hot plate on them, but go back to normal once you remove it. I wanted to try these despite reading the other reviews amid a lack of durability. I have to agree with the other reviewers that these could be better quality. They need a thicker protective coating on the top. I have only had these about a month and I Ashley have a split in the top of one of the placemats, where the top protective layer cracked. These are poorly made and are not designed to live up to the abuse of everyday use.

My order was placed on April 9, 2020, and I just took it out to use and noticed that it has flaws on all the placemats, 6 lines across all the placemats. there are 2 at the top, 2 across the middle, and 2 across the bottom. I purchased them because it is the exact print as my kitchen floor mats. If you have the exact ones to replace these, I will send them back. If you don't have anymore, I will keep these and appreciate a 50% refund ($13.99).Please let me know as soon as possible.***ENLARGE PHOTO SO YOU MAY SEE THE FLAWS.

They are nice, big and thick. You can write on top of them, but if you put anything hot on them, it raises up and creates an uneven surface. Don't really like that but the rest is ok

No stars. These placements (all 4 of them) all edges curled up! No heat or anything has been applied to them. This is a regular wood table.

Corners curl up as soon as put in use, I glued two back to back to eliminate curl

When they advertised as padded placemats, I was disappointed to see how thin they were. I expected them to have some kind of padded backing. The design in nice, but the placemats themselves probably not last very long.

They are so pretty, these placemats. But they absorb stains. Scrubbing out a tiny spot of spaghetti sauce or a bit of scribble from a pencil crayon is a real effort. Disappointed.

The picture is nice I really like it. But it’s thin, maybe ok for under a plastic table cloths, but by them self they move around to much.

Love the design of placemats but was disappointed that one had hole/indent in it and another was dirty on the back side when delivered.
