Malekko Heavy Industry Omicron Series Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal

Hello all, I'm a huge sucker for spring reverb. Its by and large my absolute favorite effect for the guitar. Ever since I started playing, Ive always had fender amps with onboard spring reverb in them. I currently have a Blues Deluxe, and I love the reverb on that. Well, I recently acqiired an Orange Rocker 15 Combo. Long story short, I find it to be the perfect amp for me, both at home or for gigging (micd of course). The clean channel sounds even better than the fender, and the dirt channel is leagues beyond. Its perfect, minus one thing, it has no reverb built in. So, I set out on a quest to find myself a suitable and convincing spring reverb in pedal form that won't break the bank. After listening to demos and reading reviews, I landed on this. I plugged it into the tube buffered loop of the orange, and I was blown away. I think that's pretty important if you wanna use drive with it, to have a loop. It doesn't sound bad in front of the amp, but nowhere near as good. Anyway, this thing actually sounds better than my fender spring. Seriously, it does. Maybe its because it emulates a tube unit, or maybe its the added range, idk. All I know is that it gets MUCH more wet and splashy, while still sounding better on the more subtle settings. Now, if you want the more traditional reverb, its all below 10 o clock on the dwell knob, with the mix no more than 2/3 or so the way up. After that, you're entering into eerie ambiant sounds, as it has a massive dwell and can go 100% wet. If you love spring reverb, buy this. Just do it, its incredible

Love this pedal, and spring reverb in general. The two knobs give you a pretty broad range of effect. Durable design.

I run my Fender J Bass through it and it sounds fantastic. Has a little bit of extra noise added but in a live setting it's negligible. This is a great compact pedal for a little icing on your cake.
