This was a purchase to make Christmas ornaments. Perfect for our use. Easy to cut, didn't splinter when cut.

I used these to cut into 3" sections for my kindergartener's math counting sticks. The wood is perfect for this, very hard, smooth, and also attractive enough that I decided not to paint them.I will recommend this to anyone else making their own math manipulatives.

I recently purchased the 25 Pack Square Wooden Dowels for Crafting, and I couldn't be more pleased with their quality and versatility. These unfinished hardwood sticks have proven to be a fantastic addition to my DIY. The wooden dowels are precisely cut and sanded to perfection. The square shape adds an extra dimension to my crafting projects, offering stability and a unique aesthetic. Despite their small size (1/4 x 12 inches), they are surprisingly sturdy.

Having purchased more wooden craft products on Amazon than is probably cool to admit, I've come to realize just how much the quality can vary. And rarely for the better. 🙄I'm giving these 5 stars, simply for being what they're supposed to be: 25 individual, square, 12" dowel rods. They arrived quickly (thanks Prime) and were well packaged but here's where it get crazy:ALL 25 were there (oooooh!)ANDthey were all perfectly STRAIGHT (aaaaah!). 😂Seriously, I'm pretty sure I've never had such amazing luck in this particular category!It sounds silly, I know, but these are great for my miniature making needs and I'm pretty stoked that I didn't have to leave my house for them. 😆
