The function switches and slot for the micro memory card are hidden in the back to prevent any assumption that it is anything but a modern looking clock. When "stuck" to the wall the unit is 100% totally covert! To set up and use the camera all you do is: 1. Insert the memory card 2. Choose over write or full stop 3. Slide the switch to on and it is now ready to record. Play your files back by inserting the memory into your computer or connecting the clock to your computer. Movies are saved in AVI. The unit is charged via the included usb cable and takes about 3 hours when fully depleted. Doesn't really do anythng USEFUL
I'm really disappointed in this. It should probably be one star. The motion sensor has a 3-5 second delay, and doesn't pick up people from very far away. Then the camera has a very narrow angle, so if someone is close enough to trip the sensor, so get about half of their body (waist to neck, for example). So it pretty much is worthless. The person you are trying to detect needs to walk up close to trip it, then stand back about 15 feet and wait 5 seconds, and then leave. What are the chances of that? A complete waste of $300
