ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. WONDERFUL IN A FRITTATA, AND JUST BY ITSELF AS A SIDE DISH.

Great stuff!
As others have said, it is a bit salty, but I tend to like things that way, so this is great for my taste buds. Very similar to the version that family in Chicago makes, and I don't have to wait for a trip to the windy city in order to have some. I bought the pouch thinking it was a little better value, but will go with jars from here on, the pouch was messy getting it open and then I had to transfer the contents to containers, not going to deal with that mess again. It is good stuff though, and seems to be disappearing very quickly. Definitely will be purchasing again!

They are a bit salty, but still good!
This Giardiniera, is salty. That must be because they added Olives. A lot of Giardiniera, do not use them. It really is mild NO heat at all, but still tasty and the veggies are crisp. One good thing about this Giardiniera, is that the whole package is ALL Giardiniera. Some give you Giardiniera, with a lot of oil to make you think you're getting a lot, when you're really not. This is NOT packaged with a lot of oil; you truly get ALL Giardiniera. If it's too salty for you it can be reduced by adding some of your favorite oils.I briefly sautéed my in some bacon grease, best of both worlds.

Good for My Taste
I didn't grow up with any cultural thing about giardiniera, so I have no preconceived notions of how it should be. But I like this stuff. Tastes fresh. Tastes like they use good oil. It's pretty finely chopped, not at all like the chunky style, but this is the way I like it. Good balance of vegetables. They didn't load up on just what was cheap. Very slightly hot. I'm on a severe weight loss diet, and I sometimes take just a spoonful or two to give me a bit of interest in the day.
