Shires Pony Size Flexi Reins

Decided to order these as, as an occasionally nervous rider who has been tanked off with one too many times, I've a bad habit of hanging onto the horses mouth when I want to control it, rather than riding them into a contact and taking control this way. These arrived very quickly, and area easy to add onto my existing bridle. They allow me to see when I'm starting to get too heavy handed, and are a great visual aid to get me to relax. Plus they probably give my poor horse a bit of a break when I tense up too!

Really great item. Allows for a much softer contact. Would also be great for beginners to attenuate hands mistakes. A bit tricky to hook on the bit, but not a big deal.

My boy has a bad habit of shaking his head these are brilliant I don’t loss my seating and he seems loads happier.You can keep contact but still quite forgive on A mouth sensitive horse.

Very happy. My horse does not snatch the reins anymore and does the job I can ride with harmony now

Only ridden with them once and they take some getting used to but I did feel that the pulling and snatching had lessoned.

Ottimo per cavali caldi e di bocca sensibile, in piano e su percorsi di esercizio. favorisce la decontrazione e un contatto più confortevole. Se si usa la martingala, bisogna infilare gli anelli sulla parte esterna in cuoio della flexi, smontando la chiusura dalla parte del filetto. è un po' laborioso, ma una volta fatto è a posto. Una piccola spesa da fare!
