ROCKYBlizzard Stalker Waterproof 1200G Insulated Boot

Decided to try these boots because I work outside a lot during the winter. I needed something warmer than what I had. After reading all the reviews, I decided to order a size larger than what I normally wear. Even wearing heavy socks, they were way too big! Had to return them for my normal size and with heavy socks they fit great and are very comfortable! Feet stayed warm even when temps dipped to -20 degrees! The return was flawless and my normal size was received within a couple of days!

Like others have stated before me, these boots do run large. I got a size down from my usual size 9 and they're still a touch big. They fit perfect once I double up on socks so it's not that big of a deal.That aside, the warmth these things provide is amazing. I was expecting the majority of the warmth to be focused in the foot portion of the boot, but the shaft is remarkably well-insulated and keeps my shins toasty. The shaft on these boots is slightly tilted forward, though, which makes for an awkward gait at first but it gradually breaks in.Prior to purchasing these, I owned a pair of Sorel Caribous for seven years that finally bit the dust. These are infinitely warmer and more comfortable than the Sorels ever were and I'm impressed by their waterproof qualities so far. I waded through ankle deep water and I didn't feel a damn thing.One notation I would make is that you should invest in some longer than usual socks. Crew boot socks don't really work with these as the interior cuff is rather scratchy and uncomfortable on your calf with extended wear.I'll update my review if anything major changes, but so far, these are tough-as-hell looking/feeling and should last me through many brutal Minnesota winters.

I waited until I walked at least 10 miles before reviewing these boots. At first they felt a little stiff and bulky, almost like ski boots. The loosen up pretty quickly. They are heavier than average boots but that's the price you pay for extra insulation. And yes, they do help keep your feet warm. I stepped in ankle-high water and my feet stayed completely dry. I carry about 50 pounds of equipment about 2 miles into the woods to hunt and they were extremely comfortable.

These Rocky MensBlizzard Stalker Pro Hunting boots are excellent for me. They are aesthetically appealing for a winter boot. I have a difficult time finding the right shoes/boots that are comfortable so I was relieved when I put them on and found them to be comfortable for me. After a few months of wear and tear in chilly environments on different types of terrain they have held up and maintained their comfort. I have found the Stalker Pro to keep my feet warm in some pretty cool temperatures i.e up to -10F. Keep in mind, in milder temperatures, lets say +30F and above, these boots WILL be very warm and may cause your feet to sweat. With Proper "wicking" socks and you should be alright. The waterproofing is still holding up as are the shoe laces. As a new purchase, these are a stiff and "clunky" (large) boot but over time, they will soften up. The clunky-ness....well....that pretty much doesn't change but you get used to it. To date, these have been great boots for cold temperatures while working outside and of course, walking in the woods. A final note.....when standing/sitting still for a while quite commonly expedites the chilling, freezing, coldness to one's feet. These boots have kept mine warm.

Rocky boots have never disappointed me. Great product! Kept my feet warm and dry during a heavy snowstorm. Well worth the money to have dry and warm feet. Snow was 2 feet deep and never intruded into the boots. The fit was a little large but I was only wearing one pair of thin socks. Need to wear thicker socks with sock liners.

Loved it , til about my 10th uses in a month, noticed my foot was wet while ice fishing, looked down and the rubber had pulled away from the upper material . Caused a open hole where the stitching pulled away , snowmelt drained into it and now it's useless. Other than that , warm, great traction , very comfortable. Wish amazon would just send me a new pair and I can send these back.

The media could not be loaded.  These boots fell apart on only the second time wearing them. They ripped wide open across the sole of the boot as well as the side stitching. This was across flat terrain. Completely unwearable after the second use DO NOT PURCHASEWould consider trying a new pair if a replacement was sent (who knows, maybe this pair was a fluke…)

Nicely built. Rugged looking. Waterproof. Warm. Nicely cushioned over top of foot. Like lacing system but a little difficult to get secure. Weakness is the sole and insole. Bought these to replace Bugaboos that are cold and have a thin sole that you can feel every rock thru.First walk with these was paved and they felt great. Next walk was on old logging trail. Several problems became apparent: 1) sole lacks warmth of upper, despite reflective insole, 2) insole is thin and provides no cushioning, 3) the "rim" of the sole inside the boot is raised which puts pressure on the sides of the feet and forced the length of the middle of your foot into a trough. Uncomfortable and created hotspots on sides of foot, 4) despite the aggressive vibram-like outside, the sole is quite soft. At first I thought it was a cushioned sole but it isn't. You can feel every rock and obstacle. It must be for traction in snow and ice. The result is that this IS NOT a boot for comfortable general hiking.Love everything about the boot except the sole.

amazing boot super comfortable, I ware size 11 but bought a 12 . great fit nice and warm definitely recommend.

My husband loves these boots for ice fishing. Feet stays dry and warm and they're comfortable!!
