Excellent
This product has a strong odor, that smells like nail polish. However, it works incredibly well and was super easy to apply. I tested it on my nightstand before deciding to use it on my new marble kitchen countertops. I just thoroughly cleaned the dust off my old marble nightstand top and made sure it fully dried. I, then, applied the Proseal with a small piece of lint-free rag and a gloved hand, just by lightly rubbing on a good amount. I went over it twice. The next day I tested my surface with a drop of oil, in an inconspicuous spot, and the oil just beaded up on top without any penetration into the marble, at all, even with leaving it there overnight! No more worrying about oil or wine stains! After it dries it does leave the surface slightly dollar, but this buffs out with a clean cloth.I have used other marble sealers in the past for my bathroom marble tiles. This one is considerably easier to apply than the Bulletproof sealer I used before, because you don't have to keep going over the same tile to keep it wet for 15 minutes like the other one, which was very time consuming with doing 60 ft. However, the sealer does have a much stronger odor than the Bulletproof sealer, just fyi. I made sure I had an open window with a fan blowing out. Also with the bulletproof sealer I could still get oil penetration. As with any sealer, it should be replied every 6 months to a year, depending on how much use the surface gets.

Works beautifully on our travertine floors, lasts a long time too
Been using Tenax products for almost 6 years now, and love them. This Proseal is fantastic for sealing our natural stone flooring. We have travertine in our front foyer and laundry room. Proseal is easy to apply (I clean everthing with alcohol, first, using a spray bottle). It lasts for 1-2 years - with weekly floor cleanings (damp mop). It also keeps the grout from discoloring. I use Tenax Ager on our leathered countertops, too.

Good product on Marble
I sealed my girlfriend's huge white carrera marble counter top with this. I cleaned the top with rubbing alcohol first to remove any oils, stains, or other debris. I opened the windows due to the high VOC content and applied the product. It dries quickly, so I removed the excess haze between coats. I applied 3 coats and they absorbed well. I tested several discrete corners with red wine and coffee afterwards and left them sit for a few minutes. Both wiped up easily with NO stain. She was delighted. There is still quite a bit left, so seal it tightly and re-seal as needed.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the product dries so quickly and leaves a top haze that needs to be buffed out. It's a lot of elbow grease, but completely do-able with clean cotton towels. Don't skimp with the towels. They must be clean to remove the haze otherwise, you're not removing anything

Works great!
The granite sealer worked well. I made the character of the granite "pop" a bit when applied.Make sure you wipe down the granite tops really good with a damp, soapy rag...and let it fully dry before you apply the sealer. It smells very strong when first applied, so make sure to have proper ventilation.Do small areas at a time. The instructions are not too specific. I think it was originally labeled in Italy, and sloppily translated to English. It says to "wait a few minutes" after you apply it, before wiping it off.So what is "a few minutes"?! One minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes?I did a larger surface the first time, waited 5 minutes, and tried to wipe it off.Blah!Waited too long. It had dried pretty fast and left wipe marks on the granite where we spread it on.No problemo. We just went over the dry area with a recently dampened rag of the sealer solution, and it diluted and softened the dry areas. So we learned to do small areas (4' x 4' foot areas), and only waited about 1 minute for it to dry.It worked fine like that.We waited 2 hours after the first coat, and then applied a second coat. We let that dry overnight. (10 hours)? The sealer works great. We tested it by dripping a few staining liquids on inconspicuous places. Nothing stained the granite. It says it will last 6 months to a year.Time will tell. I am assuming 6 months for heavily used areas of the granite, and up to one year for areas that do not get used as much.Happy with the product so far. We purchased a quart of it, and there was plenty for two coats. We even let our neighbor use it to place 2 coats on his granite island and counters. And there is still plenty left for me to do a few more coats when the 6 month and one year time period comes around.Happy with the product so far.

Tenax Proseal is an excellent product
This product does what it states it does. It will seal your granite counter top and not affect the color. It is easy to apply. We used a cotton wash cloth to apply the sealer and a cotton towel to remove the excess. Clean surfaces are a must. It is important to work in a small area at a time. The sealer dries quickly. If it dries one just has to wipe more over the dry part and immediately wipe it off. We waited 15 minutes between coats. The sealer is not messy and not as liquid as water. Make sure your area is ventilated. The fumes are strong. Before seaing our counter top water used to leave a grey stain that would disappear after it evorapted. Now water beads like it does on a waxed automobile. These were new counters and the installer claimed to have sealed them aspart of the job. We did not like the water stains that appeared. We resealed them to be sure.
