Quickie101 Nylon Dishwashing Brush

The low resolution product photo on this page made it difficult to see what the brush head shape would be before receiving mine. I have attached 2 photos to hopefully help others. I have an old Quickie brush that I would like to replace, but there does not seem to be another one like it being offered. My old one had a round brush head and no scraper edge. For my use, the scraper edge is not desirable. On the plus side, the small handle is very strong and sturdy, even if the small diameter of the staff makes it difficult to hold on to. The "cut-outs" on each side of the name badge provide extra grip when it is wet and soapy. Additionally, the bristles are very stiff and provide lots of cleaning power without going "flat" under pressure.

I had a Quickie brush for many years, round with moderately soft bristles. I loved it and used it every day, but it got worn out. I was delighted to find one of the same name that looked exactly like what I needed to replace. I read the reviews and that that some received a product different from what was pictured. So did I! It has a different shape and is somewhat larger, so it does not fit into bowls that the other one does. More importantly, however, the bristles are much stiffer and do a less good job at the cleaning that I need to do. Disappointed.

Last a long time doing dishes and other assorted things when the wife isn’t looking. Well made.

I agree with Timmy's review. You dont get what is in picture. You dont get the old style rounded with small scraper. You get a blunt end brush with Big scrapper. I ordered this on purpose because of what the picture showed and that is not what you receive.

My favorite brush for scrubbing parts snd pans, especially my cast iron grill pan. The flat edge really gets into the crevices.

The picture as shown is what I wanted. The brush I received was much different than shown with a triangular head. Without a round brush it is difficult to get into and clean the corners of the pots and under the rims of the lids. Anyone on amazon who shows a different picture than what I receive, in my book, will always get a 1 star rating. If there was a 0 star rating I would give them that.

I use it primarily to clean my non stick skillet.
