Q: Can you fry these tortillas to make tostadas?

Yes you can fry them I do it all the time just enough oil in the pan to cover the bottom of the pan and once the oil has gotten quite warm put the shell in and turn it after about 20 seconds and keep turning until u reach the desired crispness you want from the shell! I only turn it a few times as I don’t like the shell too hard and I don’t want it too soft, if it’s too soft it won’t hold the taco meat and cheese etc. Try it ,mits trial and error but you will get the results you want , I have. Hope this helps you!

Hi the ingredients are: corn flour, water, salt , emulsifier( Mono and diglycerides) calcium carbonate, preservatives (calcium propionate, sodium propionate, potassium sorbate), acidity regulator ( tricalcium phosphate)

Q: Are these soft tortillas?

Hello these are quite hard if cold but if warmed in the microwave or on a grill pan for a bit, they go soft and pliable. I don’t mind them either way and the taste is quite authentic. Good as pizza based. Healthy and gluten free too. Enjoy!
