I got one, and was so impressed I got another. Yeah, there are better lights out there, but do you really wanna give your ThruNight to your teenager to take camping? Nope. I've been using mine a lot testing batteries for my YouTube channel (search my name) and they have held up well. I've bought several of the cheap lights to play with, and this one is one of the better constructed. The important thing is to get a good battery, and preferably, invest in a good charger. A really good battery is this one:  ThorFire 3000 mAh 3.7V 18650 Battery Protected Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for Flashlight Which surprised me because I didn't expect it to be worth a darn, but it really is over 3000mah.I have about 7 smart chargers, but the best, and the one I use the most is:  Foxnovo F-4S 4-Slots LCD Battery Charger for Li-ion 26650, 22650, 18650, 18500, 18490, 17670, 17650, 17500, 16340, 14500, 10440 and Ni-MH /Ni-CD: A, AA, AAA, C, SC (Black) Excellent charger that will allow you to check the capacity of the batteries you buy, see if they are what they claim to be.For a little less money this charger comes with a 12v adapter and will allow you to charge batteries while you're driving, useful for people who camp out of their trucks. I keep one in my truck just so I don't have to remember to pack a charger when I go on trips. Handy.  Nitecore D2 Digicharger Bundle with EASTSHINE EB182 Battery Box and Car Charger One other thing, if you're buying this for a kid use NiMh, or NiZn AAA batteries in it, just in case they do something stupid with it like sit it close to a fire or drop it in the river...

Most of the reviews on this light are from people that were given this light by the manufacturer and many of them seem very biased from my own experience with this light. This light is worth the $16 because of the inclusion of the battery and charger. Fit and finish, it isn't well made as more expensive lights made by Thrunite, Streamlight, Fenix, etc. Keep in mind those lights are 2x as expensive. In my opinion I would rather have spent the $30 on a high quality Thrunite. It's definitely not 600 lumens. I compared it to my 418 lumen Thrunite Archer C1 V2 and it's noticeably dimmer. The  Vinovo Cree XM-L T6 600 Lumens Super Bright Tactical Adjustable Handheld LED Flashlight  is great because it allows me to have a very bright light when I need it, and power it how I want to.This flashlight comes with a rechargable battery, and an adapter to allow me to use this flashlight with 3 AAA batteries of my choice. When the power goes down for days, and it has happened and likely will again, and I can't recharge the rechargeable battery, this feature will come in very handy. The light is very bright. It's easy to adjust the beam from narrow to wide just by adjusting the tip out and in. Easy on/off push button on the end. Shirt clip and lanyard allow me to keep the flashlight at hand, especially when using it in the attic or basement.Overall, excellent light and very durable. We use this for illuminating our path when we walk our dogs at night. It's the best flashlight of its size we've ever owned---much more convenient size than larger zoom models we've had. The "zoom" feature is way better than the brand sold at the big box store---the Vinovo stays put wherever you slide the zoom, whereas the other product's slide moved too easily when using the light. Very well constructed, great light, and good battery life. We plan on ordering more.

These are excellent and long lasting lights. I had a small issue with one of them and the seller responded immediately and exceptionally. This has a strong and long lasting battery that is better than most I have ever used. Stop buying those copper top batteries, recharge and save yourself a fortune every week if you use your lights often. I have stopped buying batteries for flashlights and that is absolutely amazing! Buy this top notch product now. And no, I did not write this for a free light. I paid full price for these, and then I bought more to give as presents!

Initial light very bright. Eats batteries, both rechargeable and regular. Have to disconnect the battery (screw off the bottom) so no contact is made to get it to last longer. Defeats the purpose of having a flashlight for emergencies. The charger works just fine.Would not buy another and would not recommend.

works well, have had no real issues as of yet. battery seemed a little shaky at first, but slightly stretched the spring in compartment and works just fine now. for the price I have no complaints

This is an excellent flashlight, and VERY bright. I used it on a camping trip and it was a life saver. The diameter of the beam can be changed from down to a small intense square which you can see fish swimming in a lake many feet down at night, all the way up to wide enough to light up a large area. The combination of a great rechargable Li-ion battery and the efficient and ultra bright LED really make this flashlight awesome. Worth every penny.
