NO instructions makes it a bit tought out of the gate
...and shifting it around to use, not easy. IF you are very young, and your medical issues don't make it a little tough to get on the ground, it might be okay. But, I am older, and have used tennis balls for years (as has my massage therapist), to loosen trigger points. I thought this looked promising, but so far, haven't been able to use it the way it may have designed. I even looked at the online video. So, maybe it's me, but I think there are a LOT of ME's out there who are disabled enough to make this somewhat useless (and EXPENSIVE).

Does Work IF You Use It the Right Way for Yourself
The first time I tried to use this track device, it was very painful. I had bought the balls intended for it. I was on the floor, and realized this was not for me! BUT, I am not one to give up easily, especially after I have spent good money on something! So, I decided to try something more appropriate for an oldster like myself.I sat on my couch facing my TV, held the top of the track with one hand and lowered it down between the soft couch cushion and my back and let the bottom of the track touch my mid back and the top part of it touch the middle of my head. Then, while leaning forward, I slid one of the balls onto one track, and the other ball onto the other track. Because of stiffness in both of my shoulders, doing this was a challenge for me, but I persisted. I wiggled and gently twisted my torso, until, VOILA! I had the balls where I felt I needed them. WOW! The sensation was intense, but it was still tolerable, because the back couch cushion was apparently absorbing some of the pressure. I further discovered that I could modify the pressure even more if I lifted or lowered my shoulders, or if I clasped my hands behind my head and alternatively lifted my elbows up and down. Ahhh, so good , so good! I think the company that made this product includes my method, this option, into their instructions. I hope it helps others.

Keeps the ball in a line!
Very effective in hitting the points without the ball rolling off in random directions. The track is able to hold it off well, inspite it being thin. Minimalist design. It's a bit of learning curve, but the massage ball in combination with the track is very effective and be very useful for shoulder, neck, back, glutes and calves and even forearm.I recommend to anyone who needs to open some knots and/or get deeper in the muscle.

Cliff Notes:Back or shoulder issues = BR48 + foams ballsChest, arms, or feet issues = Body TrackI purchased this when it was on Kickstarter and it is worth every penny. The BR48 is best used on the back (shirtless) with the FOAM balls. You need to start off with the softest foam balls. I first tried using lacrosse balls and it was too hard. You need to be able to RELAX into the “pain” while getting out the knots in order to heal the muscle tightness etc. If you can’t even hold the position, because the ball is too hard/painful, you won’t benefit from this device. If you’re looking for one to use on your chest, arms, or feet get the Body Track. That one works better for those areas. I enjoy laying on my rumble roller for my neck issues, more so than the neck track, but I haven’t used the neck track enough to give it a fair assessment. The BR48 has given me full range of motion in my shoulders again and I’m beyond grateful. It’s better than a chiropractor and massage therapist for my specific issues. I know it seems expensive for plastic and balls, but you’ll probably be able to still use these 10 years from now — even with everyday use. The creators spent so much time getting the BR48 right via the mold; they really care about making products that work.As the titles says once you buy it watch the instructional videos on YouTube. Go through all the exercises and you’ll find the ones that work best for your needs.
