Amazing item, well made, easy to put together and looks brilliant.

Nicely made
Make no mistake, this is a mass produced product. I would guess made from CNC'd MDF.Fits together very well, paint finish is excellent.Only negatives are there is no velvet lining inside the mount for your sword, so if you have a precious show piece or there is a particularly fine gloss finish on the sheath, you should probably benefit from fitting some to protect it from small scratches.Also, the writing is Chinese not Japanese. Running it through Google Translate it reads "The treasure of the town house"!
