I buy a lot of different colored chalk paints for crafting and I’m very happy with this brand. Great variety of colors, comes in 2oz bottles as well and has great coverage.I really just don’t understand some of the pricing on these. Many are very affordable, but some colors cost way more than they should. The only difference is in the color.

This dresser is my first chalk paint project. As you can see from the pictures, this chalk paint plus dark wax from the same company transformed a throwaway dresser into something I’m delighted to have in my home. This product is reasonable (much less expensive than comparable products), performs beautifully, and is very forgiving even for a novice like me. I can now see all kinds of potential chalk painting projects everywhere I look and have since purchased it in other colors. Great product!

Loved using the chalk paint on my kitchen table, will buy again. Like others noticed the white needs more than one coat. The dark blue only needed one coat besides the first coat of 50/50. The white I did four coats. By the way, I mixed the chalk paint with water 50/50 and used that as a first coat, then did 75 % paint and water, and then the third coat was 100% chalk paint and the last coat again 100% chalk paint. There has to be a base for it to stick to varnished furniture, that's right I did not need to sand the table first. I also used water in the mix because that was how I was taught by my mother who restores/paints furniture as a hobby, I also sanded the table to perfect softness and then added one last layer of white just to make sure there were no drips. The paint is thick and it is not 100 % opaque but the coverage is great, I used one 8 oz can for an entire table with several thin layers. That's right, thin, layers and I waited two hours between coats just to make sure it was dry. It does chip if you try a thick coat or multiple almost dry coats and then more wet coats on top, always try it out on scrap wood to test how thick to apply the paint. I love how my table came out, with a cute rustic design in the nautical blue. The owners of this company need to update the pictures with a paint chip not distressed wood in off lighting. The colors are off on the photos just be aware of that. Some are darker, some brighter. I thought I was getting white, but what I got went from white to turned slightly yellow cream white color. The nautical blue was the same, I thought I was getting a blue with a slight hint of grey like on the Maine boats and themed marine house decor items. Not grey with slight blue that looks blue in certain lighting and grey during the day and night. Seriously It looks like I have an antique cream table with grey-blue design on it... It would have looked better if the color stayed white. I did not have cracking, chipping or issues with clean up. Will be buying from this brand again. The colors look great even if that was not my original plan, and the feeling of the paint is good, people give compliments about my table and I am not disappointed just frustrated with the company for not having better photos. The best part of the paint is that it does not smell horrible! I will be using chalk paint for interior walls from now on.

This item was marked as "delivered" when it never was, however the requested replacement showed up as it was supposed to though. It's not bad paint, just takes several coats to cover the surface. I wouldn't use this small bottle to tackle a larger project for that reason, but it did the job and looks pretty good.

I used this product to refinish an old jewelry box for my granddaughter. Used 2 colors same brand.

Do I love the color of whispering willow, yes. do i like plaid products, that would be a yes too. however, this was an obvious return. the lid was screwed on crooked and it leaked all over the inside of the box. the amount of paint lost was not enough to be bothered with going out in the cold and driving to the only place that takes returns in my little town so I just kept it. thankfully the other items in the box where not damaged because the candy was in a sealed bag and the other item was also a jar of paint.

Virtually no prep work. I painted a large mirror frame that was dated and I am enjoying the results. I used cottage white (not a stark white but with a little cream in it) and it looks great. Dries fast and no smell. Will use again for future projects.

Just love the color...a nice deep red.

I’ve immediately switched to this chalk paint. I won’t use any others
