Purchased this lamp in May 2020 for use on our piano. It is awesome. We love everything about it — the style is sleek and modern with clean, good looking lines. The different light settings are great. At first I thought three settings were a bit much until we saw that the three of us that play piano in our family each preferred a different setting. Awesome! The size is perfect as it is tall enough to clear standard sized piano lesson books/ sheet music. The adjustable arms are deceptively useful. Solid, well built. Well worth the price and would readily recommend.Even more impressive than the lamp, which is great, is the customer service. Absolutely top-shelf!! I reached out twice with questions and received feedback within an hour, to include once on a Saturday afternoon. Receptive, polite, and knowledgeable. Each time my questions were answered completely and I felt 100% satisfied. Beyond satisfied, actually.This company is great and they will stand by their products. Get the lamp, you’ll love it. And you’ll have piece of mind knowing that the customer service is there if you need it.

I've only had this lamp for about a week, but has certainly won me over. The three different lighting modes (with adjustable intensity for each) are as lovely as the overall design. I purchased it as a piano lamp and it makes sitting at the instrument for hours at a time that much more pleasurable. If you're a gigging musician this would be a great thing to take on the road since it folds up quite compactly and can be powered by a mobile power bank if there is no wall outlet nearby. It is lightweight but stable. The overall height is just shy of 15" and the base is a 6.25" diameter. To top it all off, the customer service is terrific. I learned in my correspondence with the company that the lamp has an estimated lifespan of about 30,000 hours which is not mentioned in the Technical Details section, so I wanted to make sure that I referenced this detail in my review. I will undoubtedly be exploring other products offered by Nuvending in the future!

I wanted a light that sat beneath my laptop, which sits on a gator stand over my Elektron boxes. I had envisioned some sort of light strip, but when I saw this I decided to give it a try. It’s perfect for how I am using it. It sits behind everything at the back of the desk, and was easily able to be positioned through the Gator stand. It’s nice and bright, but can be dimmed. It has warm and cool lighting. The warm light looks great! I love that I have so much light, but none of it is in my face at all. If you’re looking for a lamp for a desktop synth setup, I highly recommend this.

I ordered this light to use with our piano for my daughter. We've been quite happy with this purchase for following reasons: a) ample adjustable brightness b) adjustable color temperature c) enough degrees of freedom to make fine positioning adjustments d) great price.After using it (gently) for about 6 months, just last week while making a slight positioning adjustment I noticed that the plastic part of the stem has cracked where it attaches to the base. The location of the crack appears to be where there would likely be more stresses on structure. I tried to super glue it but it didn't really help i.e. it cracked again at the same place. Of course I was disappointed that it broke as we were otherwise very happy with the light, and also that it was another hassle to take care of (finding/ordering a new light).Though normally I wouldn't bother, I decided to drop an email to the vendor stating the problem. Roy was super prompt, understood my problem/disappointment and offered to send me a replacement immediately. I received the replacement the very next day. I couldn't be more happier with the customer service.I highly recommend this light, and the customer service.BTW, this is my first ever product review. I don't usually write reviews though I've been an amazon shopper for last 18 years!

The media could not be loaded. I quite like this lamp. This light is very lightweight, versatile and easy to use. While this is meant to be a piano lamp, I primarily keep this lamp by my bedside and use it at night when I am reading or journaling before bed. I find that I use the third mode the most, especially before bed, because it's especially beneficial when you need a soft, non-circadian-rhythm-impeding light by the bedside. As for the bright blue mode, I've found it useful as an additional spotlight for filming close-up video.Operation is simple. The left button is the on-off switch, and the right button controls the various modes of colour and the dimming capability. I've found that, once powered on, the lamp reverts back to any previous light mode it was set on previously. The buttons are touch-operated, and you hold your finger down on the on/off button for about a second in order to power it on. The right button circles through the various colour modes. The light has 3 colour modes: Bright blue, a softer blue, and a soft yellow. Each of these modes are dimmable. Once the light is powered on, you select one of the colour modes with the right button, and you can dim each of the modes by holding your finger on said button until you reach the desired brightness. Straightforward and simple.The lamp is surprisingly lightweight, with an aluminium body (presumably), and runs on energy-efficient LEDs. It has two arms that can each be swiveled at 90 degrees. You can close the arms in together, or set them apart in a straight line. In my honest opinion, what could make this light better would be an option for battery operation. I’d very much like for this light to be chargeable, and able to run without it having to be plugged in all the time. Thankfully, however, it is operable with the use of any Micro-USB cable, so no worries if you misplace the provided cable - any Micro-USB cable will do.Thank being said, this is a very handy light, and is useful even if you’re not a musician.

An excellent purchase. This item is sturdily constructed. It has a heavy, stable base and serves as a versatile piano light. It will also have other uses. All in all, highly recommended. There was a need to buy a US to UK plug adaptor but that was a relatively inexpensive necessity.

I was somewhat surprised at the lack of piano light offerings on Amazon. This one is a great buy. For me, I wanted black (to match piano), and low/slim profile so as to not interfere with a picture hanging behind. This one is a solid, quality product. Packaging was superb, well made, well packaged. The arm folds down completely flat (that was not obvious from Amazon's listing photos). 3 Color, and variable brightness (dimming) choices are as advertised. With arm flat, the base is weighted enough to prevent tipping, so base can be placed near back of piano, or front depending on your needs. With base at back, I find the reach is not quite enough to prevent a small shadow being cast at back of the piano keys. So I move the base forward. But you can also swing the arms out a bit (see my photo) to reduce shadow. The light bar head also tilts. I have no negatives on this product. I suppose if you want to open the piano lid while playing, you'd have to fold the lid right back on itself, and then set the light near the back on the opened lid. This product is VERY affordable compared to some 'official' slim piano light bars I've seen. Some reviews mentioned the cable. Mine had the USB cable and the 'wall plug' included. This light needs power (mine anyway); there is no internal battery for cordless use. There is an auxiliary (output) standard USB port in case you have some auxiliary device I suppose.

After not using it for the summer due to the abondant sun light, to my surprise, it went from a vertical position to horizontal, with no other position in between. I wrote the the Nunet compagnie and their service is amazing. They show empathy throughout their email correspondance and in a matter of days, they send me a brand new one to replace my damaged one. I must say that their professional service should be copied by many other businesses.

This is a great piano light. It stands atop of the piano, opens out like wings without fear or it toppling overEnabling you to play anytime day or nighttime.Absolutely first class in every way. However, you will need to purchase a cheap 3pin to 2 pin shaver adaptor, (not supplied) to connect it to the mains socket.

I was very happy with the light using for my piano until recently...Like some other wite, after a while (my case is 2.3-year that's even longer than average), it starting fading out, then finally stopped working. I discovered that the USB port on the lamp had poorer contact with the plug. I contacted the seller and they sent two boxes of the same product for compensation. I thought it was very generous, BUT none of them are proper... one had broken USB connector (pic 1), the other one had only one light (pic 2)Funnier thing is that the seller tried to promote the item saying "we can give you at a half price to get the same ones as the conditions you just got from us. You can find our website and contact us if your friends like to get them too."
