Good All Around Fins!
I am not a regular scuba diver and I rarely use fins. However, I was going diving long enough to justify a purchase as I live close to the ocean and it ended up costing me less money to buy my own gear rather than rent from the dive shops. These fins closely resembled the dive shops rentals and performed great.Based on reviews, I think these are solid all around fins. The brand is a well respected brand name in the diving community. The closed foot seems to be a regular option in the lower end or more reasonable fins. I look forward to wearing these this summer and just messing around at the beach with them. The one thing I would mention is that sizing is really stupid with fins. I regularly wear a 9 or 9.5 in US mens shoe sizes. I wear New Balances and sport a 9. I purchased the 6.7/7.5 fin and they fit great. If I dove with booties, I might have gotten a size bigger, but if you are going el natural, then that is what I got and it fits excellent. If you are a 9.5 though I'd go a size larger and get some neoprene booties. They definitely get my stamp of approval and I would recommend you quit reading reviews and make the purchase. They are offered at a reasonable price, are good fins, and a well-respected brand with prompt shipping via Amazon PRIME.

All around the best fins I've ever tried.
I go on dive trips a couple of times a year. I wanted a set of fins that would fit in my carry on. I never check a bag. These are perfect. They are 25.6 inches long 8 inches wide and fit diagonally in my carry on. The flexibility of the tips do help them fit nicely. My carry on is an inch smaller than the maximum size carry on. I got the 9.5-10.5 (44-45) size. I usually wear 10.5 E width shoes. They fit good and the soft rubber is so comfortable. I do believe I could wear a 2mm booty with them. I think the stated size should be 10-11. I'm sure an size 11 wide foot will fit comfortably in these. I think a 9.5 narrow foot should order a size smaller. Are they flexible? Yes a little more so than the average fin, that's what Mares Superchannel fins are all about. Mares studied the manta ray's swimming technique and flex and tried to mimic it. Stiffer longer fins usually have more power and speed...and tire out your legs quicker. These fins didn't tire my legs out like the stiffer ones, I didn't notice any decrease in speed and power and they were easier to maneuver. They are exactly the same size fins as my 20 year old size 8-9 FP Blades. The old ones don't fit anymore and were never as comfortable as my new Superchannels. I tried my new fins out on a 2 tank dive in Cozumel. Picture shows the flexability, tip gathered in one hand and flexed 90 degrees toward the camera. I have strong hands and it was not easy to hold for the shot. That might give you some idea of the flexibility and how easy they are to pack. I don't think they are too flexible and I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice fins
I needed another pair of fins. My others are true SCUBA fins that require booties. I’m not doing SCUBA now but wanted a simpler pairs of fins. These are lighter weight shoe fins. By most standards they are substantial fins, much better than fins for pools or exercise. They are quick and simple to put on. They give great power. They give smooth power. I like them, but I’ve only had them a few days and a few swims so far..

Order size down
Great looking fins. Nice flex. Super soft rubber. Order a size down. I’m a size 7 women’s and ordered the 5-6 and they’re a little big. But I am going to try them out with socks and see how I like them.

Sizing runs big
I’m a women’s size 8.5 so I ordered the men’s size 6.5-7.5 which is 40-41 euro and they were really big. I sent them back and ordered a size down, hoping they fit! They look great and seem perfect for travel. Will update once I receive the smaller size.*Update* Received the smaller size and they fit perfectly. I got the men’s 5-6 which is a euro 38-39. I wish they listed the euro sizes as well because I would’ve ordered this size in the first place. I usually wear a euro 39. Again, I’m a women’s size 8.5 but I have skinny, narrow feet.*Update* I used these while diving in Belize and love them. Great fins!

Nice
I am repeating. This is already the second bottle. The yellow or white color is better for underwater because the color grows.

Good fins !!!
So far so good. I had used these find on 10 Scuba Dives in Tahiti. When using the fins I wear 3mm neoprene dive socks. This is my preference as the size was slightly large for my 6.5 sized foot. I purchased the 5-6 size. The fins are durable, affordable and fit nicely into a large hard sided suit case of a soft sided water proof dive bag.

Sizing chart inaccurate
Great fin, obvious quality. Sizing chart is way off. Go down a size. These arrived the day before I left on vacation, too big, didn’t bother to take them on trip. Missed out on a 3’week snorkel trip to Caribbean. Go down a size from what chart recommends.Stuck with these useless fins now because I arrived home the last available day for a return!
