great price for this very handy device.
i am really enjoying this. the only hang up i am having is that there seems to be a cover over the bottom where i need to get into to add the extra memory i bought for it. i am not sure how smoothly the cover 'contact paper' will come off for access. i don't want to make a mess and end up with a sticky surface once this is taken off.maybe you have a suggestion.

Lenovo laptop
The media could not be loaded. I recieved the Lenovo Yoga 11e b20. I plug in the power adapter. Notice that it only install Windows 10. Start ups was slow functioning work fine. Maybe the memory of 4GB cause to power up slow. I downloaded manual on this Lenovo to up grade the memory to 8GB. Then check hardware. Notice it's regular hard drive. Not a Solid state drive. Good thing I have order a Solid state drive on Amazon for $20. I plan to replace the hardware. You notice on the video the functionality of Lenovo run better and flows faster and better. After downloading the missing Drivers from Lenovo. There still some issues on missing driver's and firmware. Unable make recovery disc or flash stick to recovery Lenovo.Plus fans system sensors will not turn on properly to cool inside cpu and other sections.I'm not planning return product. It's a too much trouble. Planing to give it to someone..I hope the technical who involved check on what describes on there product.

Great little laptop, but they make it hard to upgrade
Bought this unit as a tool to test customer networks and troubleshoot, and it’s great for that. I bought a 8gb memory module to upgrade the system, but I was having difficulties finding all the screws to remove the cover. Turns out, they cover the bottom cover with a grey colored contact paper that blends in perfectly, but hides some of the screws. My first clue was the screws I could find we kind of half covered. The second clue was there was no seam for the cover plate. Pealed the paper off and was able to remove it, and upgrade the memory.

Yoga 11e... if you like Manjaro
I've had this laptop for a few weeks now. I've gone back and forth about this machine, but ultimately, I decided it's good enough not to send back. The Yoga 11e doesn't feel like a ThinkPad to me, which I used to get for work (in the days before the boom-boom), but it's a decent enough laptop for what it is.It came in fine shape from this seller. No complaints about this refurb, it was clean, and the item is exactly as described and delivered on time.I paid $155.00, no buyers remorse, but I do not use this as my primary laptop. I got it to mess around with Linux, so I've installed roughly seven or eight operating systems in it so far. It did come with a valid MS Windows 10 Home installed. I started off with that o/s just to have a baseline for comparison.I would not recommend running Win10 on it (or any laptop with similar specs), it would drive me crazy. Updates are long, drawn out affairs. It did boot fast with Win10 (SSD is a must) but the o/s just bogs the whole thing down. The processors in this machine are there for economy, not performance. Most any Linux distro will run well on this machine, with one caveat, but more on that later.I am NOT comparing this to higher end laptops, that would be stupid because of course this isn't as good as a Dell XPS or MacBook Pro. It's an economy machine because we all don't have tons of funds to toss around. It's not a terrible laptop, but I can't strongly endorse it. I think that if you don't know your way around computers, you'll be frustrated with this laptop, but if you what you're doing, it can be a functional, cheap machine for a student or someone low on funds but needs basic computing ability. If you have to ask if you can play Fortnight on this, then you shouldn't get it because obviously you cannot play any real games on it because it's not meant for that.I like the keyboard, the keys have a slight resistance, which I like. It does clack thoughThe screen is fine, touchscreen works ok.It's compact, though a bit clunkier and heavier than say a Dell 31xx series. it's construction feels sturdier than that same Dell series, though not like an old ThinkPadBattery life is middling at best. I can eke out 4.5-5 hours with the right settings, on higher power settings drops to around 3. This is an older machine, so batteries degrade. The one I have says about 96% of the originalIt does occasionally freeze for no apparent reason and needs to be restarted. It's rare but I can't figure out what the cause is. Shutdown & restart always resolves it.Along the same line, the usb's will stop working sometimes too. Maybe they get powered off for some reason? I don't know but shutdown & restart resolves it tooFor Linux, I was initially really frustrated because my expectation was to have a fast booting Linux machine because of the SSD. The machine I had been using to play with was an ancient HP (think Vista old) that finally crossed the rainbow bridge to the other side. I thought this would be an easy install. Not exactly. From what i found of various wiki's and forums, this is a problem specific to Yoga 11e. The distros install fine, but when starting up, the machine attempts (and fails) a restart process five or six times before it actually boots the o/s, thereby negating the speed of the SSD. I tried a number of Debian/Ubuntu based distros (I really wanted to run Pop! on it) and Fedora all with the same result. Then I went to Manjaro, which I love so I dunno why it took me so long, and it worked. The boot time is less than 30 seconds, Manjaro runs this machine beautifully, which is why I give this laptop 3 stars. It's good for Manjaro and vice versa.
