Very good product
The only problem I had was it was too long for my boat. I could have used it, but would have not been exactly like the directions. So I gave it away (relative) and ordered the smaller straps which were perfect. Easy to install.

Very Good
this item works very well for securing our rods while traveling and provides easy access to them when we're fishing

Works good
I am giving this a 4 star because I replaced a close to 20 year old version of this same model and the only reason the new model works so well is because the old model had a hard plastic piece with screw holes that went over the strap. The new on they just want you to screw right through the strap. I used the existing plastic piece and it works great.

STRAP IS MADE OF QUALITY MATERIALS FOR SURE, BUT, WITH AN UNFORTUNATE DOWNGRADE!!! READ...
Greetings,First off, I read the reviews before I bought the strap, so I knew what I was getting into. The strap is made of good quality materials without a doubt, but I will completely agree with the 2-Star reviewer that stops are required to keep the strap from eventually pulling through the screws or tearing the strap over time.Another reviewer also mentioned about the good quality strap material, but that it only worked well after he used the plastic hold down stops from his older one of 20 years. It is too bad the manufacturer "cheaped-out" and eliminated the strap end stop supports. Not sure why? Maybe more profit.... "But at the expense of a once well-made product"Go Figure!Knowing in advance about this problem I am making my own aluminum stock brackets. If you are not planning on doing the same - then, regrettably, you might want to reevaluate its purchase. You will most likely be replacing it sooner than later. I don't know about you - but I am into quality as well as reliability in a product...If I could have found a better Deck Mount strap, I would have purchased it.But it seems there are not too many brands out there to find...Chow!

I had to fashion stops for the part that is attached to boat. The screw would pull thru strap without something to hold it.
