This tamper is perfect for my espresso machine. Had no problem using it and the build is very sturdy with great wood quality. The wood is not laminated so it doesn't shine which I prefer. Cleaning is very easy as you can unscrew out the handle from the base and clean. Do note that there could be some minor imperfections in the base metal which I noticed on mine but it wasn't like a dent or caused any impact on my preparation. The rubber silicone base is a nice touch too to place my tamper on without damaging it but functionality wise, not much you can do besides resting the tamper on it after you cleaned it. I would highly recommend getting this as the build is great.

I am so pleased with the quality of the tamper set. It feels great in the hand and I love the rubber toolrest, which keeps the tamper dry and clean. It is very well designed, hefty in the hand, fits the Gaggia dispenser perfectly, and is simply beautiful. For those of us making espresso a few times a day, this is a must tool at a very good price.

Made from excellent materials, wood looks very clean. Fits well with the delonghi 380/385. I’ve been using it every day for my espresso drinks, will buy this brand again for my next espresso machine!

Way better than I expected. The weight this has is amazing but it is well balanced and feels great it your hand. Definitely recommend.

Every morning I make an espresso or two. We have an awesome Rancilio Sylvia machine, which we've had for at least 15 years, which came with a plastic tamper. And tamping was always my least favorite part, I now know why, not only was the tamper the wrong size, but had no weight and had a convex end and my coffee would either go out of the edges or would be uneven from side to side, it would get grounds everywhere, and still have coffee dust on it, etc. This did always annoy me, but I didn't realize how crippled I really was using the wrong tool for the job. As luck would have it, I lost that tamper a few weeks ago, and tried everything in the kitchen to replace it, including the top of a sundried tomato jar. My wife rescued me by researching tampers and ordered the Vienesso - 58 mm. The first time I used it, I was immediately reminded that there is a proper tool for EVERY job. Who knew?! Of course many know, and now I am one of them. If you are still using an inferior tamper, buy this beauty, it will change your coffee making experience. It also comes with an awesome storage pad that also serves as a packing surface without damaging your counter top. Who knew!?

The Vienesso is the perfect complement to my Delonghi expresso machine!!! It’s East to assemble, easy to clean, and makes the tamper process very easy!!! That means I get to my coffee faster!!! One happy camper!!!

I like the quality of this tamper. It has a good weight to it and is easy to clean.
