This does its job admirably. I couldn’t fit a cover over my downspout into the new pipe placed up against the hose. I looked at my neighbors house and they had an offset adapter like this. Magic!

As mentioned in other reviews this company sends various brand name products. I bought two. One was offset, the other was not. Each one is made by different brands.

I first devised a subsurface 4" heavy gauge (the white stuff) PVC drain system. I created a short upright and ran my 2x3 inch Amerimax vinyl gutter downspout down deep into the 3x4 Genova product. In this oversized application, the downspout could be placed 6+ inches down the throat of my vertical, and pitch the angle so I did not have to fuss with downspout offsets. The loose fit of the 3x4 opening with the inserted 2x3 downspout assures me that a blockage of the drain will force overflow to exit near the ground instead of backing up to the roof. The Genova friction fits well into any of the heavy 4 inch PVC hubs so for now I am leaving all of my vertical pieces unglued, in case a later adjustment (or a spring painting of the PVC) is needed.

Item worked out great. It is offset to allow the gutter to sit flush against the house. The thickness of the plastic is 3 1/2 millimeter all around. Made in the USA.

I ordered these hoping they would be smaller than the NDS brand fittings available at the home stores. The NDS brand fittings are about 2.5" x 3.5" inside dimensions on the rectangular opening which is a pretty loose fit on a 2"x3" downspout. I was hoping these would be a tighter...but they are just the same NDS fittings...photos from other reviewers show different fitting than what I got so not sure what happened...will return

Just what I was looking for. I ran PVC under a new sidewalk that I poured and used this to adapt from my down spouts to PVC.
