Orbit 58006 Plastic Impact Head Sprinkler, 1/2-Inch

Its a rainbird impact sprinkler head. We all know what it does. It doesnt matter if its metal, plastic, carbon fiber, or solid gold. They deliver artificial rain and eventually wear out. How much do you wanna spend? I chose as little as possible and they work fine.

These are better than some of the more expensive plastic alternatives, but I ended up replacing most of them with brass ones.

Brand new, bought a replacements for a hardware store brand That was a big mistake Installed 2 today. First one goes so fast, like it is on steroids Second one goes one way and stops, push the lever by habd it goes the other way and comes back and stops Worst thing is I think it is too long since I bought to get a refund BUY the $20 dollar ones, less headache

This is the same basic sprinkler head we all know and love, at a good price. Very easy to get the spray pattern the way you want it. Quiet too. Love it.

We have 5 acres and water most of it with impulse sprinklers. I got these because they are much cheaper than Rainbirds. They work sort of. They turn really fast. Can't make it in time to turn it off at the sprinkler and many do not last very long. I had to return the first batch of these I bought because 2 failed within a couple days but at half the cost of Rainbirds there's still an incentive to try them and some do last a fairly long time.

I can get about 1 season of use out of these and I have to replace them. I like that they actually move unlike their metal couterparts but the plastic just doesn't hold up

The heads fit perfectly on the spikes, from my old metal impact sprinklers.
