Nice baster with a small defect.
Included with this nicely made metal baster is a medium bore needle for injection of material into the tissues of the bird. Unfortunately, the needle doesn't fit the syringe tip. That didn't matter to me since I have never injected into the meat to be roasted.

Finally, a quality baster!
This is a great baster - a little harder to squeeze the bulb than some other basters, but very durable. The stainless steel stands up to hot liquids and the bulb snaps securely in place to stop leaks. I had no trouble with liquid squirting out. Much better alternative than the cheap plastic versions that don't last!

Should have really looked at this closer before buying it. It looks like something that belongs in a garage for working on a car - not something for use in the kitchen. I guess that's what I get for not going to W-S to purchase.

Yes, it leaks. One of the worst. right up there with the cheap plastic basters. Only good comment is it's stainless steel. Save your money and get one from the dollar store
