Scuba Diving ZippTags. A complimentary Product to The Personalized Waterproof 3M Sticker Labels

These tags are awesome. We did liveaboard dive adventures in Costa Rica and the Cayman Islands recently. Labeling every piece of one's dive gear is a mandatory requirement of the dive boat operator. So I ordered personalized water proof labels (from this excellent seller) and tried waterproof dive gear paint but labels and paint can't be used on all surfaces, including neoprene. So I used the tags to label my three neoprene wetsuits. Perfect!

This is a great solution for marking items where the stickers wont stick.

I ordered these as I had been a fan of the 3M waterproof stickers but needed a way to attach to bags, wetsuits, BCDs etc. Easy to attach and label and assuming they stay in place they will be great. Haven't had time in the water yet so early days on how robust they will be.

A great product for the recreatoin business and sporting enthusiast. Active Trends created this product in response to a need we had. The stickers they sell are wonderful and have served us well in SCUBA equipment ID. However on fabrics and neoprene like materials the stretch caused them to loosen. Voila the zip tag. You place the cord through a zipper tab or hole on the item, run it through the hard plastic clear tube, snap the lock on it, and put you label around the tube. It's easy peasy to use and I think you could pop the lock to move it to other equipment. You have to use the small square labels Active Trends sells.If you have a business that rents wet suits, clothing, rafts, sleeping bags, tents, anything that folds or stretches this is awesome. Right there on the front is a discrete tag with name, size, inventory #, or whatever you want. You don't have to disfigure the item to label it. Plus it makes it easier to pull your zipper than grabbing the little tab with SCUBA or ski gloves.We found when we dived our stuff was in a pile with everyone else's. It now takes us no time to clearly identify ours.Full disclosure, I do not work for Active Trends or get compensated by them.
