TOURNA Multi-Purpose Sticky Grip Tape

I like this grip. It gives you great tact. I use it on the Wilson Blade 16x19 v8. I have heard some people say it gives them blisters but for me it doesn't do that at all. The only negative is, and maybe it is just this way with my racket but it seems to suppress the feeling of ball impact, almost like a string dampener. The Blade is a very flexible racket so maybe that is why but on a stiffer racket maybe it doesn't dampen the feeling of impact like it does on a more flexible racket like the Blade. This is coming from a guy who doesn't use and dislikes string dampeners. I have tried them over the years and every time I do I remove them because I want more feedback on the ball's impact on the strings and racket.I also use it under the grip on the racket to increase the thickness of the handle. It increases it a half size. For example I have a 4 3/8 grip on my Blade and it takes it to a place between 4 3/8 and 4 1/2. I like that size but I also added it as an over grip because I needed extra tact, so that takes it to a full 4 1/2 grip size when all is done and said. I can play with 4 1/2 or between 4 3/8 and 4 1/2. I would do the math and give you exact size but you don't need the number, just know it is in between.I say this is a great grip and I highly recommend it over all the current standard over grips.

I have used this type of tape successfully in the past (not this brand). When I opened the package I noted that the roll was not rolled tight and it looked uneven. The first attempt at unrolling went okay. I was able to get enough off to do a few wraps of my paddle grip. After that it was all downhill. The end of the roll was lost forever. This type of tape is intended to be thin and gauze like, but this was defective. The tape is so thin and loosely woven that you could not differentiate one layer from the next. I would find the end and try to pull it off evenly, sometimes lifting individual sections ever so gently, without success. Total junk. Threw it out. I don't know if it's the brand, something wrong with the batch, old, or other. Just frustrating.

It's sticky. It's as advertised. It's easy to apply. It lasts a good amount of time and increases grip on the Raquetball raquet. Nothing fancy, but performs as expected and advertised.

I used this over hockey tape on my pickleball paddle after reading other reviews that it can gum things up. Doesn’t seem real tacky to me but will see once I start playing and my hand sweats. For the people who don’t read directions on the packaging: fold a small piece onto itself after your done using so you can find the starting end.

Works well but not as good as I hoped

Dried out, very thin gauze that rips when try to apply. Total junk product. Could get maybe 6” off the roll before tape breaks. As you unroll, tape edges don’t come off so tape gets narrower and narrower as you peel off a piece.

This tape was perfect for my tennis racquet. I sweat a lot and have lost my racquet on my serve follow-through a few times, breaking the frame each time. So I began using friction tape on my grip and have not lost a racquet since. Sometimes the tape is too sticky, making a mess of my hand and the racquet bag. This brand, though, has just the right stickiness to be easy to apply to the racquet and to create a good friction grip with my hand, but without making a mess.

After first use almost impossible to re-use. The guaze adheres to the layer below too strongly after a short period of time. The outside edges of the guaze remain stuck to the roll and only a very thin strip unwinds. It deteriorates very quickly on the roll. I used for one racket and had to throw the rest of the roll out. Not cheap either. Avoid.

Quality of the tape or the age of the tape has something to do with it not being wrapped evenly around the handle…. This is the second time that I bought this and turned out to be such poor quality

I love this product. My palms become sweaty when I play long games so this helps me keep a steady grip on my racquet. Also, in order to avoid the tape from turning into a roll of sticky tape, I put a tape at the end so I can still unroll it. Thanks for this product, I am able to still play competitive tennis.
