Anyray(10)-Pack 50 Watt 50W 12V 12 Volt G6.35 Bi-Pin Base Small JC Type Halogen Light Bulb GY6.35

We have 3 pendant lights above our kitchen island that require this bulb. They are secondary / cosmetic fixtures, not used daily, and the first time we had to replace a bulb, I couldn't believe the price! Naturally, I was thrilled to find these on Amazon; the cost is excellent compared to a recognized brand (especially at a home improvement store).Unfortunately, the quality is substandard. One bulb was DOA out of the box, and the rest lasted very briefly with light use - I would estimate 10-15 hours per bulb, MAX. We have multiple halogen fixtures in our home and know how to properly change the bulbs, so mishandling is not the issue. I ordered this 10-pack in late October and just over 2 months later, ALL have burned out. They've been replaced repeatedly in 2 fixtures, while a more expensive (brand-name) bulb - purchased many months ago at a home improvement store - has continued to burn alongside them in an identical fixture with no problems.Are these bulbs inexpensive compared to other brands? Yes.Do they work? Yes ... in our experience, 90% of the time.Do they last? ABSOLUTELY NOT.Sorry to say that we're back shopping for an alternative because even at their seemingly fantastic price, these are no bargain.

These bulbs replaced our original "WAC JC-50 GY6.35 Base 12V 50W Bi-Pin halogen bulb, Clear. Lumens: 950 Color Temp: 2900K Est. Life: 2,000 hours". (3) out of the (5) original WAC bulbs have lasted over 6 years now without replacement. Two of the original WAC bulbs that lasted only 5 years have been replace (3) times each with these Anyray replacements. The Anyrays have an average life of only about 6 months in our house. One of them burned up in only 1 month. I'll get an LED replacement bulb when I'm done with all (10) from this package. I wouldn't recommend these bulbs!

Fist- it was very helpful that the bulb was described and measured properly and accurately as it is a hard to find item and if the prongs are too long the fixture may not work. I looked for this particular bulb for quite a while, bought wrong ones and was thrilled that this one was a match for my expensive if dated floor lamp. Since the original bulb lasted 8 years, my supply of 20 should cover my needs for as long as I keep the lamp.

I burned through a box of ten in less than a year for the two lights over our dining room table. Not necessarily a bad dollar per hour but a bit of a pain to continually replace. Sometimes they would break when they burned out which creates glass fragments - not good for kids or pets.

Great price, fits perfectly, inconvenientlye short life. But, I'm not convinced that these aren't still a bargain in terms of hours per dollar.

These bulbs are a great deal! They're much less expensive than the ones you get at Home Depot or Lowe's and we haven't noticed any kind of difference in the ~6 months or so we've been using them. Even if they were to burn out faster at this price they're still a better deal.

These 12v G-6.35 size bulbs are impossible to find locally... Amazon has them at a great price! They fit in my kitchen pendants perfectly!
