Buell Neidlinger Quartet Live at Ravenna Jazz '87 with Special Guest Steve Lacy

The Neidlinger Quartet often appeared under the title of "Thelonious." They had a good feeling for Monk's music. When you add Lacy to the mix, it only gets better.The music is wonderful. This is a group that was NOT merely playing another tribute album.My only nit is that there is not enough music (just under 40 minutes).

Buell & Lacy? What more could you want. One of the best bassists and the best soprano sax ever. Great!
