Ear Pressure Relief Device

I usually don't write reviews but I had to for this one. For being almost deaf in one ear for more than 3 weeks, I am seeing some light at the end of the tunnel- thanks to this product.I have been battling a severe ear infection in my left ear for almost 4 weeks now. I was put on a course of antibiotics by the nurse practitioner who I visited after hours once my ear started hurting. After 3rd day, it got worse and I was left with about 20% hearing. Since it was a Saturday, I decided to wait until Monday morning to get an appointment with an ENT specialist. There was a lot of fluid buildup behind the ear drum. He said that I could either wait it out for a week or he could lance the ear drum and I could start hearing immediately. I decided to tough it out.I finished my 10-day course of amoxicillin, there was no pain but just a severely clogged ear. I again visited the same ENT and got a hearing test done. There was no loss in hearing or permanent damage but still the same amount of fluid in my ear. The nurse practitioner first came in and without asking for my consent started prepping the table with some sharp stainless steel blades etc. On asking, I was told that the doctor would lance the ear drum. I was surprised as I was expecting to first discuss the pros and cons of the surgery to make an informed decision. I had researched intensively on this topic and had also read review for this product and another one, otovent, and was hoping to discuss these alternates to surgery.Though the internet research revealed a failure rate of 2% for the surgery, the nurse mentioned that it could be anywhere from 4-5%. If the ear drum failed to heal, the doctor would do a skin graft (she failed to mention that the I would never have any hearing on the skin graft area) and if there was a fluid build up again, the only option would be to put ear tubes in and they would come with their own set of risks.The nurse refused to discuss these alternates-Eustachi or the otovent.I decided to tough it out and ordered this item. I received it on the 3rd day and as soon as I tried it, I heard a pop in my clogged ear and it opened though not 100%. I tried it a few more times and was very happy with the results.I would also like to add that my ear was so severely clogged that it took several tries a few times a day and it is still not back up to 100% but I am getting there. I have also read some reviews for this product that say that their "good ear" closed. Let me tell you that it will open in a few seconds. Patience is the key.. If your ear clogging is due to a severe sinus infection like me, using a neti-pot with this will help greatly!I was finally able to wash my hair without any fear of getting water in my ear and clogging it some more (yes, even if there is no ear wax, it can feel clogged). I used it twice and my ear popped again. I am very pleased with this purchase. I have to fly out this weekend and I am planning to take this with me on the plane.

I have used this for about two weeks now so I’m confident I can write an accurate review. Basically, I was hoping for much more. I have season eustacian tube dysfunction related to allergies which results in my left inner ear collecting fluid, which feels awful. I read other reviews of this product such as “I immediately felt my E tubes open and mucus run down throat...” ir “this solved years of eustacian tube dysfunction,” etc... and I think they are BS. This does nothing more than what is achieved by performing the Vasalva maneuver, only a bit less forceful. Basically, it pops your ears for a split second. That’s it. No magic, no great result. You really will have essentially the same feeling by simply holding your nose and swallowing. I wouldn’t waste the time or money.

I have had a blocked eustachian tube for over two months and was delighted to find this product on line. It did work initially, although my ear didn't clear entirely, so I used it several times a day and ended up with awful earache and a slight perforation in my eardrum, although I can't be sure that was caused by the exerciser. I had to visit an ENT doctor who diagnosed this problem and prescribed antibiotics for a middle ear infection, which I also had. I showed him the eustachian tube exerciser and he didn't think using it had done any harm, but I wish I had used it with a little more caution as the air it shoots into the nostril is quite powerful. I think it is a good invention and would recommend it, but to be used sparingly and not several times a day, as I did!

Product isn't great, basically same thing as an aquarium air pump you can buy at Wal-Mart for 5 dollar it's just blow slight air . Try to look up comedo suction microdermabrasion it's for blackheads removals, but if you stick that device in your nose, not only it's pop your ear, it's removed all the old sinus that was dried up in your tube as well. Again i don't have pimple or blackness but bought this for a different purpose. If you have esutachian tube or sinus in your tube, nose clogged, or ear pressure that need to be pop to hear better or drain fluid. Put this inside your nose and it fixed all of that, don't listen to me, it's could also be dangerous if you don't stop it or pull out in time. I thought I was dead in one if my ear for 3 to 4 years , doctor have no clue what going in and tell me to buy a hearing aid or get hearing implant. This $60 DEVICE MAKE ME HEAR NORMAL AGAIN, THANK YOU, it's suck out a dried sinus which was trapped inside my tube for many years. Thank you thank you. The problem I have is when I get a cold one or both of my ears can become bunged for days, weeks or have on a couple of occasions been bunged for months!The other day it happened again and out of pure desperation I saw this online and despite the extortionate price I hit the go button.Read the brief instructions. Held one nostril with my finger, held a mouthful of juice in my gob and then held this machine to my other nostril.I pushed the button, the air went up my nose, I swallowed the juice at the same time and then BANG!For a few moments I felt nauseous, dizzy and everything was loud.Completely worked. Truly shocked. This is going in the cupboard!I can't say this will work for medical conditions but what I do know is if you get bunged ears because of colds or viruses then I can't see why this mofo won't be your saviour!I was not paid to write this nor as I asked. Quite frankly I am so buzzing about it I thought it only fair to write a review.

I had been suffering from a collapsed ear drum, and I wanted to say that is worked really well for me and it relieved me of a lot of stress. I tried it because a few years ago an old school ear doctor used the manual version of this and it worked then. The newer doctor fixed my collapsed ear drums by putting ear tubes behind the ear drums, it worked but one of tubes fell off and because of convid-19 I haven’t been able to replace it. Not sure if it’s advisable (but I was really exasperated), the first time I must’ve tried it about 6-8 times before the ear drum pop back up again. I’m not in the habit of publicly sharing personal information but it worked so well for me, I thought I would share my experience in case it “may” help others (not being able to have normal conversations with others can be really frustrating).

Se avete 5 minuti leggete la mia storia.Sono 7/8 anni che ogni inverno per ogni raffreddore che prendo mi si chiudono le orecchie. Chi l'ha provata è una sensazione molto spiacevole, oltre che fisica anche da un punto di vista sociale, perchè sei in difficoltà a partecipare a qualsiasi conversazione e anche sul lavoro ho rischiato di fare errori perchè non capivo perfettamente cosa mi veniva detto e non volevo far ripetere le cose ai miei colleghi. La prima volta che mi è successo naturalmente andai da uno specialista che mi ordino una cura e alla fine della visità mi disse "se poi la cura non funziona, provi ad andare a delle terme" Feci la cura, senza successo allora disperato andai alle terme dove mi venivano fatte le insufflazioni timpaniche, che consistono in un cannello infilato nella narice che soffia aria compressa nel tubo i eustachio. 12 di queste insufflazioni ebbero un moderato risultato, senza però riuscire a stappare completamente le orecchio, però era la fine di marzo, poi con l'arrivo della bella stagione ed il caldo piano, piano le orecchie si riaprirono naturalemente. Così per un paio di anni, poi l'inverno successivo mi decisi di cambiare terme, siccome Porretta è famosa per le cure anche uditive, anche se lontana e in montagna provai ad andare li per vedere se almeno loro riuscivano a curare il mio problema. Il medico delle terme mi consigliò le solite insufflazioni tubotimpaniche, però quando arrivò ad eseguirle, siccome ho il setto nasale deviato e probabilmente quel dottore non era molto esperto, il dottore decise che non era possibile farle e quindi mi consigliò di fare il POLITZER, fu la mia salvezza, già alla prima seduta gli orecchi mi si erano stappati e sentivo quasi perfettamente. Avevo trovato la cura giusta! Però una cura costosa, perchè con la sanità nazionale si può fare una sola serie di applicazioni all'anno (e comunque il ticket è 50€) poi se avevo bisogno di farne altri durante l'anno dovevo pagare 90€ per una serie di 7 applicazioni. Alla fine, era un po' costoso. Io mi domandavo, ma esisterà una macchinetta che inala aria nel naso per poter replicare l'effetto Politzer anche a casa, e mi sono messo alla ricerca di qualcosa che potesse le miei necessità. Prima provai il palloncino che si gonfia con il naso, non voglio dire come si chiama, con scarsi risultati, poi dopo numerose ricerche, finalmente ho scoperto EUSTACHI.EURTACHI riproduce esattamente l'effetto POLITZER che potere trovare nelle varie terme, solo che un ciclo di cure alle terme equivale al costo di questo apparecchio con evidenti vantaggi economici, senza considerare la scocciatura di dover adare ogni volta alle terme per poterlo fare.Quindi CONSIGLIO questo apparecchio EUSTACHI senza se e senza ma, a tutti coloro che traggono beneficio dalla cure con il Politzer che questo apparecchio riproduce (in scala minore ma efficacemente) al calduccio di casa vostra.CONSIGLIATO senza riserve
