I have been using "Ice Curls" for about 2 months and I just purchased this new jar a few days ago. Great value for the size of the jar! It's a GREAT gel! It really defines your curls, makes them soft and bouncy, and adds volume. I have not noticed any flaking or residue. It has a sweet citrusy scent. Its not overpowering and it goes away with your scent or other hair products. I was using this gel with a different brand of conditioner but it just wasn't performing that well. My curls were nice but they could definitely be better. I purchased the "Fix my hair intensive repair conditioning masque" and my curls are AMAZING with this combo of conditioner and gel. Im a loyal customer to this brand!My routine: I ring out my hair but still make sure my hair is wet and makes that wet sound when I scrunch it, I apply a leave in conditioner spray from dollar tree ( power stick brazilian mist), I apply the gel on my wet hair. First I brush my fingers through my hair and then I do the praying motion. I section my hair and brush each section with the dupe for the bouncurl brush (got it here on amazon). I scrunch my hair and make sure it makes that wet scrunch sound. I let my curls air dry and then put it up in a clip when its completely dry. The next day I release the cast and apply hair spray to my hair in the praying hands motion (I pour hairspray directly to my hands, I dont spray it on my hair). My hair is undied and natural. I use the Dial gold bar to shampoo my hair every 3 or 4 days.

My hair always looks shiny and defined, and I receive countless compliments whenever I’m out and about, embracing my natural curls.One tip I’d like to share: make sure your hair is completely dry before you enjoy the full effects of this gel. I like using a diffuser to help shape my curls, and the results last me at least two weeks before I need to do another wash and go. I use this gel on my washed hair when doing my flat twists or braid outs. It really helps define my curls when I take my hair down. There is no residue or flaking and I use a generous amount on my hair. It has replaced me using a curling cream, it works so well.

I am a huge fan of Aunt Jackie's products. This gel is a great addition to my hair care routine. I have curly hair of the 3C-4A type. I use gels for wash n go's, or rather wash, condition, gel, dry, and then go. It has a faint smell of chemical but fades away quickly. It is light-weight. It has minimal casting and no flaking. My hair does not feel too dry with it either. I use it this way to get 7-10 day curls. After washing and conditioning, I section my hair into about 6 parts. Then I take a thin row of hair from a section and detangle. I then apply the gel. Then I use a brush to make sure there are no tangles. Then I smooth the line of hair and let it set. The gel has great hold and a bit of shine. Highly recommend.

Great smelling product

This gel is good if you want a good hold. I find it to be too hard when it dries. The scent is not strong. Wanted a more softer feel though. Defines curls okay. Not for me though.
