Patriot PMX200 Electric Fence Energizer, 2.0 Joule

It works great, I use it to partition my fields for my cows. First day I think all my cows touched the fence with their noses and it really knocked them backwards, they now stay about 10 ft from all my fences. Thanks to this charger i think i could put up a piece of thread and they wouldnt go near it. Lol

This was perfect for my studs pen. He has a baaaaad habit of moving the panels around. This....and everything has stayed in place since we mounted it in the barn.

It works as advertised. It generates a serious amount of power. In its current application, it is under utilized. The wire run is a tad too short, which results in death to any plants that contact it. This encourages the possibility of brush fires. I recommend that one properly sizing the Energizer power to the amount of fence wire.

Works good. Have had good luck with this brand. Would buy again.

I purchased this item 1.5 years ago. It was advertised as having a 2 yr warranty. It worked well as an electric net energizer with good voltage measured. It suddenly died with no lights and no voltage output. I have contacted Patriotglobal.com the manufacturer and they informed me that I had to go back to the dealer at Amazon to exercise the two year warranty. My receipt said the seller was Amazon.com Services LLC. I called customer service at Amazon and they told me since it was after their 30 day return window that I had to go back to Patriotglobal. They would not give me the contact information of the dealer who provided them with the inventory. Effectively if you purchase this item through Amazon after thirty days there is no warranty. This may also apply to many other products sold by Amazon Prime especially if the manufacturer requires dealers to honor warranty . This transaction has been an eye opener for me and I will keep it in mind for future purchases on Amazon.

So far so good. If you earth right and have good poly wire with the correct clamps and have the Gallagher Lightning Diverter ....deadly!
