Has worked well this winter and we had some cold days. It is very noisy when running though. Keeps me warm. Doesn't take up a lot of room.I'll let you know how the ac works in the summer

We bought this for our garage because I don't allow smoking in my house. It is a little noisy, but puts out some great cold air. I definitely recommend it.

Supposed to be a 14K BTU A/C. Sure doesn't feel like 14K BTU; had an 8K BTU LG A/C previously and thought a 14K unit would outperform greatly. It doesn't but is noticeably cooler and has a stronger fan. Just not as much cooler or stronger fan than I hoped for. It works OK and isn't particularly loud. The fan has vents that can rotate about 15 degrees up and down or remain fixed but the fixed position directs air upwards too far. All in all not bad for the price but nothing special. The unit arrived in good condition. I use the unit in my 27' camper to augment my15K BTU roof mounted A/C especially in triple digit South Texas heat. I think if doing it again I would buy a more powerful (and expensive) portable.

Have used this ac unit for a few years now and it works great.

Be very careful. This product came in the mail. We let it sit straight up for 8 hours. It worked fine for 4 days. We had it sitting by it self with space to ventilate. This evening it started to rattle so violently that it nearly tipped over. Within a matter of seconds it started to smoke and was hot to the touch.Luckily we got up in time to turn it off. Its incredible that this product can even be sold. This isnt even a product issue, its a safety hazard. We couldnt of imagined if we werent home. I guess 5 star on the heating function as it could of lit up the house like the 4th of July. Incredible.

The AC arrived, well packaged and on time. The kit was completeThe first issue is that the vent hose should have been 5 inches longer. This hose is a ridged design and offers little flexibility nor do the connected devices. They will simply pop off if you try to move them.The window vent came with three screws to attach the duct to the window bracket. The ducts bracket holes are deeper than the length of the screws, making them useless. I just installed it, and it is running, how well it works we will see. Portable ACs are less efficient then window units, so I order a much larger unit for the job

Still got my a/c unit

I bought one and liked it so much, I ordered a 2nd one to cool my 1200 sq. Ft home. We live in the northwest where a lot of homes do not have central air. It cools to cold even on hot days. Quick delivery and boxed well. Easy to install.
