As you can see from my photo, what I recieved is nothing like the advert.First of all this brand is permaplug, not masterplug as advertised. It only includes the 4 gang socket and not the 5m extension cord and plug as advertised.I have started a return immediately. What a waste of time.

So I decided to get this one because of the majority of the good reviews and the fact it’s so cheap my advice to anyone thinking of buying this like I did because of the good reviews, is don’t buy it! It doesn’t work!it’s a horrible horrible Cheap light plastic, only two of the four plugs actually work and allow you to push your plug in and on top of the only two working plug sockets don’t charge properly! so I don’t know what’s going on with the voltage of it.I am unable to return it due to the covid situation and there’s not contact for the seller!Honestly don’t let the good reviews fool you I think the majority of them are fake or for different products.

Ordered a Masterplug 4 gang extension but received a Pifco branded product. While they're obviously very alike I paid the extra for a Masterplug branded item due to having had them in the past and knowing the quality. I could have got a generic branded product for cheaper if that's what I wanted. Not happy :/

Beware I had one item plugged into this, when I added another plug the unit sparked and black smoke started coming out of the pin holes, be very careful!

What I particularly didn't like were some of the negative reviews. Fair enough, some were four years old, but even so they certainly don't relate to the product I've just received. So, to confirm:1. All four sockets work fine.2. The product arrived in a plastic bag that definitely said 'Masterplug' on it.3. There is a big 'M' on the raised plastic bit just above where the lead enters the case, suggesting that it's a 'M'asterplug product.That's about it, really. Oh, for an extension lead, it looks quite nice.

Not a Masterplug but a cheap extension lead (PIFCO make).Light flickers, so not daring use it on anything important, could blow.Isn't 1m but 87cm. 13% error is quite bad.Will update once I have a reply from the seller.

The product received is not a Masterplug extension multi-way adaptor, but a non-branded cheaper alternative.I specifically purchased 2 Masterplug adaptors because it is a quality brand that I trust. Instead I received 2 that look different to the picture, with a 'B&L' logo on the back in a bag with the brand 'benross' printed on it.Not what I purchased, will be expecting a refund.

I expected the power strip to have more weight, so it wouldn't scoot around as I plug/unplug things. I don't yet have a place to attach it. Bought it to set in the middle of my dining table so everyone who's distance learning and working from home can charge their devices without fighting over outlets or block chargers. It has helped with that, but I'm going to look for something more substantial. This feels cheap or of poor quality.
