Easy to fit.

Having accidentally cut original plug off with a hedge trimmer, this is an adequate, reasonably priced replacement. Like other reviewers getting the cable through the black sleeve hole was, initially, not without difficulty but after careful "thinning" of the cable end to get it through it pulls through easily (the thinned outer can then be trimmed off)

Bosch include cables that are far too short for their new hedge trimmers. So I'd wired this Flymo socket to 30m flex and a plug. Functions perfectly.

The quality of the materials used are very poor and it split into two pieces quit easily when connecting to the mower.All in all a wasted purchase

The item was perfect

These are pretty compact plugs, so pretty amazing they managed to create one that can be re-wired. They are surprisingly easy to assemble. However, they aren't perfect by any means. In particular I found the black sleeve very tight on what is a flymo lawn mower cable. I needed to use a little grease to get the thing on. Also when fitted the assembly around the copper contacts was not great to say the least. It didn't clip together all that well, leaving gapes around the contacts.I am sure it will work but I question how long it will last.It's a great effort and about as good as you can expect but it's a long way from an original plug. In the end I threw mine away and spent just that little bit more for a complete replacement cable. It's recommended but with reservations. You might be better just forking out for a complete new cable.

Does the job

Much cheaper than buying a new lead, easy to fit to any two core cable.
