There comes a time when getting a hat is a must. Maybe in childhood it was that little cowboy or cowgirl hat that you wore until it fell apart. Maybe you got a new hat every summer before heading to the beach. Or it could have been a baseball cap during Spring Training for your favorite baseball team. Whatever the occasion, age, or hat, when the moment arrives and you’re convinced you need a hat, there’s that certain excitement you feel until you find that perfect hat.Making that decision can be helped when you find a huge selection, and there’s probably none larger than the one on Amazon. A gigantic inventory of every type of hat with more choices than you could possibly imagine. With all these choices to evaluate, choosing the right hat can be a lot like work, so I wanted to share some of what I’ve learned, especially if you’re buying a hat for someone else like I did.In Amazon’s world of hats, there are numerous merchants with tons of hats of numerous varieties, sizes, shapes, and colors. The selection has never been so dizzying, and when you finally narrow down what size you need, you then must decide what style, color, and material it should be composed of. For instance, take a look at cowboy (or cowgirl!) hats: they come in all colors; are made from various materials like straw, leather, or felt, and hatbands are pretty darn snazzy, but you can always check out the new ones on…you guessed it – Amazon!I recently decided that my husband needed a hat since he’s spending more time in the sun and his hair no longer protects his head like it used to. He has a quirky sense of humor, but doesn’t like things he has to fuss over, so it needed to be practical but also show off his unique personality.After doing looking at a jillion hats, I decided on fedoras and choose this olive one that has some real Cubano flair, and is light enough for summer wear. I could hardly believe the awesome selection of fedoras, and at prices that don’t break the budget! These just have to look good on everybody! The color selection ranges from sky blue to navy to ivory. I chose the olive because it matches my hubby’s green eyes.The hat stayed in great shape during shipping and seems to be very well constructed. Nothing seemed to be missing or ready to fall off. The hatband is securely attached, and the hat has such a nice shape right out of the box. It seemed ready to go places and be shown off – like it should since it looked so awesome!The unfortunate part came when the hubster put on the hat and we found that it was just a little too big. We tried to think of ways to make it fit, but finally had to contact the seller, NEWTRENDON, and asked for solutions, but alas, we are packing it up for a refund. The seller couldn’t have been any nicer or more professional. He had followed up after selling the hat and had also quickly responded to our questions. He suggested we return it for a full refund; unusual since most merchants try to talk you into keeping the merchandise so they can keep your money. Even though the hat is going back, the transaction was totally hassle-free and we’re already looking at their inventory for another awesome fedora.

The hats are fine now that I steamed and reblocked them. The idiot who packed them didn't realize they aren't supposed to be flat as a pancake.

this hat is not of good quality. If you put anything on it , It will fray the top, at least this what happen to mine. I put another hat over the top and when I took it off, the top was like it had been rubbed on the top
