Sooooo… It’s my own fault for buying these. I swear I was thinking ‘hatch green chili’ when I bought these ‘habanero’ flavor. HUGE mistake.I managed to eat two before starting to reconsider life decisions. I have never been “good” with spicy stuff, but I have always enjoyed the flavor, so I aim for mildly spicy things when the mood strikes. These are NOT mildly spicy. HOWEVER, they are freaking tasty… I thought, well, I can stomach a few more, get some water/milk and stop there. I perhaps managed to eat four(4)… Mouth on fire, went and had that huge cup of water with milk chaser. Stomach was burning… not good.By the grace of God, I managed through the night and got some decent sleep. I would need it.Morning, 10 September 2020, I rediscovered what my body was capable of… DID YOU KNOW, that things can be so spicy that you can FEEL THE SPICE IN YOUR COLON? Did. You. Know? I’m not talking about just the “burn”, I could FEEL the SPICE. The same sensation as tasting it in your mouth…Immediately upon beginning what would be the ultimate struggle for survival, I realized that you can indeed feel the spice in your colon. I also immediately broke out into an uncontrollable flop sweat. This was followed by prayers for forgiveness and begging for mercy so that the pain, sweat, and smell wouldn’t cause me to throw up… I’ll be realistic and say the worst of the struggle was about 10 minutes, such suffering, but I finally managed to release what can only be described as liquid kidney stones.This made everything SO MUCH BETTER. Demon expelled, I managed to complete the day without further incident. A miracle if ever there was one.11/10, would ruin my colon through the expulsion of liquid kidney stones again.

I purchased these twice earlier this year, and they are outstanding. Great flavor and perfect amount of heat. Each bag hardly lasted a week bringing them to jobsites and into the office.Unfortunately, the original seller must have run out of product or sold them all to this new vendor, because they used to be well under $20 for the 1.75lb pack and now this vendor is asking over $40 for a single pack. Absolutely crazy.. unfortunate, too, because I really loved these. But $40+ is insulting.

I did like these quite a bit. I will buy them again.But, in my experience, Old Wisconsin meat snacks easily have flavor inconsistencies among their products. My theory is that it depends on exposure to heat. Such as being in a hot truck during shipping, or sitting in the sun after delivery. Not just an issue with Old Wisconsin, but other companies as well. And doesn't just happen for home deliveries. Also happens to in store items. Can also possibly be a quality control issue. But I think heat exposure is my current top theory.I had a shipment of a couple packages of one of their related products. Tracking the delivery, I noticed it had gotten stuck in one spot for a day due to a holiday. I was guessing the truck probably sat in the sun that day. When I got them, they tasted pretty lousy. Like when I had an opened package sitting in the cabinet for a few weeks. Not moldy, didn't make me sick, but taste was way off. Same issue with a different brand that had been sitting delivered on a sunny day for a few hours on my front steps. Even the times I bought Old Wisconsin in the store, verried a lot in taste for the same product lines. Especially the turkey based ones.So, keep track of your package and make sure it doesn't sit out for long when delivered. Maybe hold off purchasing if before a holiday weekend. If they taste a bit off, try again in the winter months if you live somewhere that gets cold. And not on weeks with heavy shipping that gets delayed like right around Christmas and black friday, etc.

These things are one of my new favorite snacks. First thing you should know, is that they are really spicy for being a mass produced "habanero" snack. Like insanely spicy for what they are. I have bought plenty of ghost and reaper products that don't reach the heat of these. Thats OK though, because I love hot stuff and I'm often spending more for ghost and reaper products just so I can taste a little heat. These deliver even with the "lowly" habanero. Awesome! Whats more, is they have a great flavor and texture. Plus you get a ton of them for a very reasonable price. 1G carbs and 1G sugar is a nice bonus as well. Too many products like this are packed full of sugar.These things are a major winner if you can handle some spice!

These were SO good but damn they are HOT. I personally could only eat 2 at a time. It's not the initial eating that was such a problem, it was the... um... "next day" that made it interesting. :)) 2 seemed to be a good limit for me.They flavor is great. Wish I could have eaten more but they are a good size, so 2 was good.If you like spicy... these are worth a try.

I enjoyed these when I bought them for $15 but after a few repeat purchases price got jacked up to $27,at that price they are definitely not worth buying.These have a nice spice to them but you can tell they are made from cheap cuts of meat all ground together.Worth the $15 price,a ripoff at $27,somebody got greedy,you can get a much better quality beef stick for $27,look elsewhere.

Your rear end will hate you in a day's time, believe me. Not that spicy in the mouth but it comes back with a vengeance. I couldn't sit all day in fear I'd set chairs on fire.Incredible value, though. You get a lot of sticks and they're high in protein so you only need to eat one or two to chase off munchies. Amazing for midnight snacks where you can't justify a whole meal. I also really like the flavor, even if I wish the mouth burn was even remotely close to the butt burn.All in all, good product. Will buy again.
