Mine was delivered broken in a half but I did not returned my husband glued together.

Great product and excellent customer service!
Somehow over the winter, we lost the connection from the umbrella to this base. Although we bought the base three years ago, a response about replacement came within one day. Hope to have our shade back by next week.

This was awful umbrella base. Our standard size market umbrella blew over and landed in the pool.
This base is too light. It is dangerous. Do not recommend anyone buy it. We unfortunately had to throw away 2. A mild breeze came in and the umbrella fell over and into the pool. Luckily no one was hurt.

For smaller, lighter umbrellas
The umbrella base is easy to assemble and has a nice finish. However, the vertical pole tube is too short, flimsy and unstable to provide strong support for any umbrella that is nine-foot or wider even in a light breeze. I wish I had noticed the examples among the reviews showing the pole holder broken right at the base. I'm learning you get what you pay for with umbrella bases.
