I've reviewed Spicely for other purchases. It's a great spice company, and my go-to for cooking in my kitchen. This review is specific to the Sumac spice. In Persian cooking, Sumac is a staple. Other Middle-Eastern cultures use it, too but Iranian food was my first experience. It is similar to a very mild chili powder with fresh, lemony overtones. Fun on vegetables, chicken, lamb and on hummus. Try it for something new.

Great taste, glad to find this organic. Fantastic brand with high quality spices. I use it to top all of my salads (lettuce, cabbage, egg, etc).

Cannot comment since it was completely spilled in the envelope, the lid bad come off. Had to throw it away.

I use sumac in a variety of dishes and love the flavor. I also use it frequently instead of lemon to keep my GERD at bay. I have tried a few different brands and found this one and absolutely love it! I bought the small jar at first and used it up quickly and was so happy with the taste I just ordered a 1 lb bag. Really glad I found this source.
