Very handy mat comfortable to use and easy to store, arrived on time.

Doesn't slide at all. Good heat resistance. Great price.

You get what you pay for. Itl do the job fine for occasional use, but if you're soldering alot, spend a bit more. This is very thin and small, not sure how long itl last. Okay, not great.

The media could not be loaded.  I had been using a small piece of slate (a placemat), but, it was always a pain to keep clean and store away and, I can only blame the cat so many times for 'those scratches' on the wooden table!Pros:- This is high-quality silicone, extremely flexible yet it will do what you need it to do - protect the area where you're soldering.- Easy to store.- Easy to clean, you can put it in the washing machine, I do!- The price.Cons:- Maybe not a con, but more of me being silly and not 'Reading the description properly' - it's small, an A4 sized quality little silicone mat that does a great job, especially at the price. See the video where I show how it's not at all damaged, doesn't smell or generate fumes at all - I could only test at around 430 Celcius, which I would never use anyway.

I recently purchased the Soldering Mat, it's an excellent addition to my soldering workstation. The heat-resistant silicone mat protects surfaces from high temperatures and also has helpful screw-bit holes.

Ended up putting my wood burner at 450c straight onto the mat, the mat just looked at me and said "that all you got bruh."Solid grip on whatever workspace I've had it on, and on whatever I'm working on. The compartments are small but enough to keep my pyro bits I'm using, would also be fine to use for most small dismantle jobs and taking locks apart. Impressive lil rectangle really.And then it rolls away quite small without a problem too. Perfect.
