RDE-1401 Race Day Electronics Headphones Earphones Headset for Race Scanners

Bought these for the Food City 500 in Bristol. No problems at all, the girlfriend and I could hear the radio perfectly, and they do a decent job of muffling the roar of the engines. If you have a large head, these may be a tight fit, because I have an average sized head and they just fit over my ball cap at max extension. Great product, would recommend.

Made of top notch material. Light weight. Covers intire ear. Can be used to keep out unwanted noise or for listening. They are mono so look it up if you don't know what it means. This is my second set. I am tone deaf and these are the only way I can listen to what people say on the CB radio. I highly recommend them . The price is more than reasonable. Get it now before they disappear.

Overall Works as intended. Not so great on the noise canceling but works great at local dirt tracks with a scanner/Radio to listen to tower chatter. Would recommend for basic Scanner listening. also works for other things as well. shuts out some of the noise, so it is a little more tolerable.

The headphones suck. I bought 2. They have almost no volume. Certainly not enough to counter a nascar race. Don't waste your money.

They worked great for the NASCAR race at Dover. Great for the price.

I wore these headsets with a race scanner at the April nascar race at the Richmond raceway in 2017. They have good sound quality and can adjust the volume of each ear piece. The ear padding is comfortable and fit well when wearing it over my hat and sunglasses. The downside of this headset is that it does not reduce sound all that well over nascar engines. They are made more for loudness of the speaker as opposed to reducing outside sound. Might be better for other racing sports but hard to hear in nascar. My friend had the 3M work tunes hearing protector headset which I tested out and worked really well. Those reduce outside sound alot due to the built in ear protection. I recommend those. They can plug into a race scanner and do not have to utilize the AM/FM function.

I bought this to use on Nascar Race Day and when it came to the race day I found they are not blocking enough of the noise out and when that happens you can't turn them up enough to hear what they are really saying.

it was what I wanted it to be , for the money you could not ask for more . worked great with my fan vision at the southern 500 Nascar race sept 1st 2019
