Light in weight - but sturdy
I placed two separate Amazon orders out of concern that the vase would have flimsy packaging and would be dented by heavier items I was buying. The vase ships in the black drawstring bag, inside a thin box without bubble wrap - but it's sturdy. It doesn't flex *at all* when squeezing it full-strength. (It would dent if you whacked it against the edge of a granite counter top or maybe dropped it on tile - but this sucker will dent my wood floors, and possibly a toe, several times before showing damage. (My "metal gauge" assessment, FWIW.) The finish on mine is shiny, but not a mirrored, chrome-like finish. It has a fine, stainless grain. Not whorls or swirls or flaws - just an even, neat and fine, consistent grain from top to bottom. Purchased for water-rooted (hydroponic) plants. I'll put a few stones in bottom for extra weight. (A wet, dented-toe preventative measure.)UPDATE: At just shy of 3 years - always filled with water - my vase developed rust. A few small marks penetrated through to the outside. Not deep or leaking, just cosmetic. (I did only a light buffing outside, not wanting to scratch the finish.) TO BE FAIR!: Had I been checking it routinely, I would have spotted the rust inside and scoured it off before it spread and penetrated. *I do not fault the quality.* Still a durable and lovely vase that I would buy again. Otherwise, as shiny as the day I bought it. Just a cautionary update for maintenance/awareness. With the nice wide opening, I was able to fit a 24 oz wide-mouth mason jar inside - so no concerns about the rust progressing.

They are as described. Very good quality! Sturdy! Shinny! I bought 4 of these vases to use on my mom and dads headstones😇😇 They turned out better than expected! I'm so glad I thought of doing this! Everyone loves how they turned out!

On the light side, but beautiful
Beautiful, smooth, and perfect size and shape. I was expecting it to be heavier, it is on the light side but still beautiful. Came packaged in a nice black velvet pouch.

Stunning
I absolutely love this vase. It’s shiny & matches the stainless steel decor of my kitchen/dining room area. It’s the perfect size & holds 1 dozen of my fake roses. I really want to order more for other areas in my home. I am very impressed by this vase for the price.
